Best CNC Bits For Beginners 🧰
One of the biggest struggles for CNC beginners is choosing the right bits without wasting money on ones you don’t need. So, in my latest video, I’m breaking it all down by cutting a live CNC project using 5 MUST-HAVE bits every beginner should own. Get the Bit Set Here: https://cicworkshop.com/collections/bits/products/essential-bit-starter-set 🔥 In this video, you’ll learn: ✅ How to actually use these 5 bits for clean, precise cuts ✅ The difference between upcut, downcut, and V-bits in action ✅ Why choosing the right bit saves time, frustration, and material ✅ My go-to bit for surfacing and getting perfectly smooth stock ⚡ If you’re new to CNC or struggling with rough cuts, this video is for you! Plus, I’ve put all these essential bits together into a Beginner Bit Kit, so you can grab them all in one place. 🎥 Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/TjfdMxBt1wM?si=5Hi0pfzo2v4nm_nj 💬 Which CNC bit do you use the most? Ordered me a set
New CNC
I just bought a new Onefinity Elete on April 4 it has not arrived yet. But my question is what type bits do I need to get started.
New to CNC
My name is Kenny. I live in Louisiana USA. I was glad to see this CNC group. I’ve left a spot open in my shop, for my new cnc machine whenever I get. Still in the process of figuring out which one to buy. Any help?

Welcome to CNC Startups! Introduce Yourself! 🎉
I’m Ryan, the founder of this group and a passionate CNC entrepreneur. I’m super excited to have you all here. This community is all about helping each other grow, learn, and create with CNC machines—whether you’re just starting or looking to take your skills to the next level. Here’s a little about me: - I’ve been working with CNC machines for 10 years, building a business and helping others do the same. - My favorite thing about CNC is turning a simple design into a product that people love. - Fun fact: I love Bourbon and Tequila, and have over 100 bottles in my collection/stash Now it’s your turn! In the comments, let us know: - Your name and where you’re from - What stage are you at in your CNC journey (just starting, hobbyist, business owner, etc.)? - What you’re most excited to create or learn with CNC - A fun fact about yourself! Looking forward to getting to know everyone and seeing what amazing projects we’ll create together!

I’m Kenny Lowrey live in Opelousas, Louisiana USA. I’ve left a spot open in my shop for a brand new CNC machine when I figure out which one to buy. I love woodworking and in the process of finishing my new shop. I’m retired & my wife retires in 5 years. She is a crafter. Our plan is within the next five years to build and online business selling the products we make. I figure on making craft shows and festivals. Handing out business cards to drive customers to our online stores. Like our own website plus Etsy and likewise. I’m above average woodworker but have not bought a CNC yet. I’ve been reading and watching videos. So glad to be here. I’m a self starter my biggest problem is my mind thinks I’m 28 but my body is 67.

Update: I’m about 30-40 days from finishing our shop. Been a long journey. So happy to see the end in sight. Pix coming when finished.
