Hi everybody! This is Bri, also from St. Louis. I love being in community with people and advancing The Matriarchy. 🤗 I am a career fundraiser, slowly wending my way out of it because I feel like the system is broken as hell. I have many thoughts about nonprofit leadership, which is why I've started a project called Oddball Leadership (™️ forthcoming!). Ultimately, I want to a.) NORMALIZE Oddball Leadership — leadership that centers on the values of belonging, gratitude, curiosity, and joy, b.) help propel the careers of young professionals and middle managers who are at their very best when they lead with these values, and c.) prove to organizational leadership, boards, etc. that *um, actually* it's in the best economic interest of the organization to have Oddball Leaders at the helm. Now that my voice is starting to permeate, I'm pivoting some of my content to be more application-based for readers. Get their mind into Oddball-mode. I'm also thinking of how I can gather all the Oddballs into one space and build community like THIS! The timing on becoming a part of this particular space could not be more apt.
