What do you want to learn about?
I was hoping you could take some time to think about the habits I need to become successful during and after the military. This way, we can start building some mini-courses behind those topics. This free community is about all of us connecting and becoming better together!

Hey David, as far as implementing habits go everything either helps us out or hurts us in some way (or a mix of the two), whether intellectually, physically, financially, etc. Everyone has a different life with different goals so obviously there cannot be a cookie cutter program or streamline to success. However, there are many habits we should all be committing to that will give us large net benefits in the long run. Positive habits like exercising and healthy eating, breaking down negative habits like limiting exposure to social media and other short-term media forms (that destroy our attention spans, and ability to focus, and harm our mental health). As far as specific habits go, I can suggest a few simple and quick things that I do every week which focus on committing to a healthy financial lifestyle. - Spending Tracker: Every transaction I make I put in a notes list and add it up each week. I input the numbers into an Excel where I can view the whole month's spending (annotating what my major purchases were on, as well as smaller reoccurring purchases). WHY: We should know where every dollar we spend is going, you can make as much money as you want, but if your spending habits keep up with your earnings then you will never build wealth. ACTION: Visually see and remember where my money is being spent, consciously decide if I want to keep up said spending habits, and adjust where I see fit. - Net Worth Tracker: We should all want to know where all of our dollars are and what we are financially worth. Creating a spreadsheet with all of our assets, debts, and cash allows us to get a snapshot of our net worth, and track if it is going up or down, and by how much each week, month, etc. We can also include our goals here, account for future income, and most importantly visualize where we want our Net Worth to be by certain time hacks. - Goal Setting/Journaling: Each weekend I like to reflect on my week, the good, the bad, and new things I've learned and experienced. Along with journaling and reflecting, we should continuously be visualizing where we want to be in the future, this is the basis upon which setting goals is built. I know we have done exercises in the paid course that relate to goal setting and there are some templates on there, these are vastly important.

@David Plazas Sounds good, I can create something this week and send it your way to see what you think. I know you have a budget spreadsheet as well so it could definitely be something that relates too/integrates with that.
