Saw this video on twitter and it reminded me: have the right tools. Whether it is instruments that work, repair tools, tech, etc...Having the right tool is a game changer. Do we think "issues" we have our more tool, people, or process related?

If I was going to buy a video/audio recorder for school what would you recommend? WOuld have to be pretty simple (no storage for a ton of equipment) and easy to upload/connect to macbook/chrombok or ipad to control/upload. Does not have to be perfect, just functional.

Making use of prep time
Wondering if anyone else struggles with using their prep time effectively? If it's later in the day, I find I am so exhausted I usually take the time to just stare at the wall haha

@Grant Carson best thing might be to schedule time (monday = parent emails, tuesday = score study, wednesday = wall staring). if you know wednesday is for wall staring you might feel less guilty/overwhelmed.

Valentine's Day special: Most inappropriate wedding songs? Not like having swears, or stuff. For example: my wife wanted to include "I will Survive". I had to put a veto on that.

What's your philosophy on reading music right away vs. sound before sight?

@Mike Haas I think having the curriucular partnership with general music changes equation a lot.
