The Fellowship: For those who lead from the front.
Team, If you came to this work through my social media channels, you likely appreciated my blunt honesty regarding the state of health and education for the next generation. I speak honestly because I genuinely care. There’s a quote by Thomas Sowell that I’ve always loved: “When you want to help people, you tell them the truth. When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.” We get nowhere by living in denial for the sake of our own comfort—or the comfort of others. One of the most important realities I’ve learned over the years is that impact is not distributed evenly. A small percentage of people create a disproportionate amount of change. A small percentage of actions create a disproportionate amount of results. A small percentage of ideas are worth pursuing. A small percentage of people move from agreement to action. This isn’t a criticism. It’s simply how human systems work. Look at almost any endeavor. Thousands of people talk about writing a book. A fraction ever start. A smaller fraction finish. A smaller fraction publish. A smaller fraction create something that meaningfully impacts others. Millions of people talk about getting healthier. Fewer take action. Fewer remain consistent. Fewer become examples for others. The same dynamic exists in every movement. Most people observe. Some participate. A few contribute. And an even smaller number become force multipliers who create ripple effects that extend far beyond themselves. I’ve seen this pattern repeatedly inside Physiology First. Many people complete a course. Fewer host a workshop. Fewer still bring the work into a school, gym, clinic, or community. And only a small number build something that continues creating impact long after they are gone. The Fellowship exists for those people. Not because they’re better than anyone else. But because they are willing to act. The future doesn’t change because people agree with good ideas. It changes because a small group of people decide to take responsibility for bringing those ideas into the world.

It's so true. I work with a ton of kids in our community and the parents love it, but the parents will not model it themselves for their children. It's fascinating. So we must become the modelers of the movement.
This presentation wasn't perfect...
But it made a lot of students aware of the power of their physiology. I spoke to this auditorium packed with high schools in 2019 - shortly before the world went into lockdown. It was the middle of a busy school day for them... They were herded into a crowded auditorium to listen to someone talk about breathing - someone they never asked to hear from, about a subject they couldn't care less about. By the 30 second mark I had the attention of the room... By the 5 minute mark the students saw breath as a power tool to reach their goals.. By the 10 minute mark the students were breathing together... By the time the talk was over they left with a few new skills in their toolbox. Skills that I hope served them well during the strange, chaotic year ahead. You never know the impact that this work will have on someone. In the next module we're going to dive into the Foundations of Breath. You'll learn a LOT about breathing - some of it through papers and personal anecdotes of working with students, schools, and families - most of it through experience in learning to operate your own physiology with greater agency. By the end of the module you'll be prepared to share THREE SIMPLE THINGS in a powerful, practical way with students, schools, parents, and organizations in your community. Grateful to have you on the team as we work to create a new approach to health education that EMPOWERS a generation starting with the one thing we do 24/7 - our breath.

David is right. I had a paid speaking gig on these topics I learned much about through this program, and while it wasn't perfect, the people who showed walked away empowered, and particularly the kids. Take action and do it.
A truly powerful podcast episode. Give it a listen!
Team, This is one of the most important conversations of our time. It will give you a picture of how much harm the current psychiatric model is causing in our communities, and how valuable our Physiology Approach truly is. You'll learn just how arbitrary the current diagnostic process actually is, how quickly kids and families are placed on these drugs, and how damaging this medieval approach to medical care has been to those who are addicted to medications that they can not get off of. My guest Dr. Josef Witt Doerring is a leader in the fight to reform psychiatry from the inside through his Taper Clinic which operate in 15 states currently. We look forward to exploring opportunities to partner with him and his team, while we scale our affiliate locations around the globe. Grateful for the incredible work that Dr. Josef is doing and honored to be in conversation with a true leader in the movement to bring health education into the 21st century. https://youtu.be/uTxzHTrUwXc?si=giJFgHAg4Oi-eIu4

This is so fantastic and edifying. Thank you for making these resources. I'll be sharing this with our entire audience.
Who wants to help beta test a new program?
Team, The new assessment program we are launching will change the course of health. It's a simple survey to help parents better understand whether the physiological foundations for mental health are in place. This will open their eyes to the need for leaders like you to help guide their child on the path to optimal health. I appreciate each of you. I'm immensely grateful for your leadership and drive. The health crisis is not due to pharmaceutical companies, tech companies, tobacco companies, and junk food distributors being too strong. It’s due to the health and fitness industry being too weak. This is our fight-and we're fighting to win. Fierce innovation, tireless effort, and a deeper fire to get communities healthy than our competitors have to make them sick... That’s what it's going to take to help kids and families take their health back. This next step is just the start of a revolution in human evolution. Let me know if you want to help beta test the new assessment and be part of a working group to get it to parents across the globe! David

Welcome to our new team members! An important video on the Chemistry of Communication
Team, Grateful to have such incredible leaders from all across the globe joining us for the Fall Certification Program! Welcome to @Mariella Nadeje @Paula Langenbuch @Nikki Trusca @Swati Thakur @Nadine Currie Jackson @Nathaniel Weidner @Darren Bailey and others who are still getting onboarded to the platform! This is an important video for everyone on the chemistry of communication. Right now, today, you can make $5k + by simply communicating the foundations material effectively in your community to companies, schools, and teams. This is the most undervalued element of the program from my perspective. It takes no equipment, no facility, and nothing other than the willingness to learn, practice, and outreach. I invite everyone to leave their comments on this module in the Module One Discussion thread and let's strengthen our communication while planting the seeds of trust in our communities 🌱 https://vimeo.com/1118492951

This is truth. David's layout of the foundations can have massive impact alone. You just have to be willing to get out there do the work.
