What is a contraindication for using Ipratropium?

@Jose Pacheco @Raphael Estevez So it’s peanut and soy allergies because older formulations of Atrovent inhalers used soy lecithin. Soy lecithin can contain trace amounts of soy protein, so in theory, this could trigger an allergic reaction in people with severe soy or peanut allergies. Here’s th catch though, modern Atrovent inhalers no longer use soy lecithin so from what I’ve seen the FDA and manufacturers have since removed the peanut/soy allergy contraindication.

Shout-out to @Brandon Gonsalves & @Adrian Garland on passing their respective EPATs for fire academy and getting one step closer to the final chapter of their journey before applying to become firemen. You guys are going to crush it and will be amazing additions to the departments and communities you serve.

Spinal Injury
Your conscious, alert, and oriented adult patient was involved in a motor vehicle accident involving major rear-end impact. He was the restrained driver and is now complaining of the inability to move either of his arms. There are no obvious injuries noted. The patient is able to move both lower extremities but reports weakness and decreased sensation to the interior aspects of both thighs. The patient has diminished but present distal pulses. He only has some touch sensation, and no grips or hand/ arm movement, leading you to determine upper extremity paralysis exists. Which of the spinal injury syndromes is most likely to cause the signs and symptoms described above?

@Raphael Estevez this is a tough one! Can you provide an explanation? My thought is that pancreatic issues usually present with pain towards the back?

@Michael Boyhan Sir, went from reading to a quiz, got to this question. Which are appropriate treatments for Class II hemorrhage? (Select 3) Now i recall class 2 think 2 treatments just my personal thing to remind myself, fluids and O2 but it says select 3 so i choose as my third continue monitoring. once i was finished i checked back in the book and per the treatment it says fluids and O2. real world of course we would transport as well but i was thinking based off reading the book. the answers and feedback read as follows: Feedback Class II hemorrhage merits crystalloids, oxygen, and rapid transport. Now lets say this was on the test tomorrow should i put transport although you have prepare transport at class 3 for treatment?

There is a little more to that question. The continue monitoring answer choice stated "continue monitoring ONLY". Based on my understanding, the fact that it said only in the answer means that, it is literally the only treatment you would provide, as in not doing anything else for the class II hemorrhage.
