Sinner - Esme Rose
There’s a sharp edge on this one—and honestly, that’s exactly why it fits today. Sinner holds that tender, honest ache where complexity lives: remorse, longing, reckoning and the courage to name what’s real. Sometimes the darker tones are the most grounding because they don’t rush hints of light—they let you sit with what is. Esme Rose does that beautifully. Her voice feels intimate and brave at the same time, like she’s trusting you with something true. If you’re moving through a moment that’s heavy, reflective, or quietly raw, and let's be honest, during these times we all experience those moments. This song meets me when I am there. What song meets you where you are today?

Awake my Soul - Mumford and Sons
Today’s soundtrack: Awake My Soul by Mumford & Sons 🎶 It’s got that soulful, rootsy country-folk feel that drops me straight into my body—feet on the floor, breath a little slower, heart steadying. One of those songs that quietly gathers all the scattered parts and says, You’re here now. Perfect for grounding, reflection, or a gentle morning reset. What song helps you land back in yourself today?

Move your body!
Today’s soundtrack is My Prerogative by Bobby Brown. This one really got me moving in my morning dance practice—full body, big energy, zero apologies. Total nostalgia + strong “I’m doing what I need to do” vibes. It was so good I stayed with a full New Jack Swing playlist, then shifted straight into some art-making before logging on. One of those mornings where movement opens everything up. What gets you up and moving lately—song, rhythm, practice, mood? Drop it in the comments and let’s keep the energy circulating. 🎶🎨

The World is Worth Saving
Today’s soundtrack is “The World Is Worth Saving” by The Neighborhood Kids. I love these young revolutionaries. This one is a little slower and softer than most of their songs but still powerful. It feels like a Saturday song — spacious, hopeful, and quietly defiant. A reminder that even when the world feels heavy, there is still so much here that deserves our care, our protection, and our joy. Especially our children. Especially our communities. Let this one hold you as you move a little slower today.💛 Prompt :What — or who — reminds you that the world is worth saving right now? Drop your reflections and/or your own soundtrack in the comments 🎵
