Good evening everybody, I recently started using MileIQ to track all of my mileage. For those that don't know, you can claim 45p per mile as a tax expense for the first 10,000 miles per tax year, then 25p per mile for anything after that. MileIQ works in the background so you don't have to constantly go on the app and manually track everything. You go on the app and swipe left or right for personal or business use and it's as simple as that. 45 per doesn't sound like much but it certainly adds up - I've only been using the app since mid May and I've already racked up £144 as a tax expense

@Tim Haq Thanks Tim! £900 is a lot of money!! I racked up £153 in the first month - imagine what it'll come to in a 12 month period...

Tax expense

Hey everybody, Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Can we keep our receipts for fuel to claim back as a tax expense? Or can you claim mileage? If so, how do i do that?

Struggling to close a deal - advice please

Hey. I have a rent to sa deal in the pipeline direct to landlord. Contract has been sent to look over. But the LL is taking ages to respond, and delays our phone calls. Any advice on how to close this deal quickly and get it done?

Maybe address the delay with them to try to address any concerns they may have and get some contact again between you both. For example, you could say something along the lines of “Hello (Name), Just wanted to know if you’ve looked over the contract I’ve sent you? It’s been (amount of time) since i sent it to you, are there any concerns you’d like to go over before we finalise? Look forward to hearing from you” I’d also give yourself a timeframe. If they haven’t gotten back to you within that timeframe, call it a dead end
