Yesterday I stood in front of around 40 to 50 lads on site and shared my story. No big production. Just honesty. I spoke about growing up where drinking was normal. How normal became habit. How habit turned into something that was quietly taking control. And how it eventually led me down a road I didn’t see coming. It wasn’t about preaching. It was about being real in an industry that doesn’t always make space for that. You could feel the room was with it. Proper attention. No messing about. Just listening. That’s what SPEAK is about. Creating space for conversations that should’ve been happening years ago. Overall, it was a solid day for SPEAK. We’re getting into the right rooms. And we’re only just getting started.
