Game Time
Finally a tee time this weekend, BUT my back is in shambles. I am unable to swing a golf club. So we must pivot. Been practicing chipping lately if you haven't seen on my social media platforms yet. (Like, comment, subscribe 🙃) So on Sunday, I am only going to hit from around 50-80 yards in. This is my biggest struggle. So this is a blessing in disguise. Any tips, games or advice going into this to make things interesting for me & @Ryan Bailey ? Can he beat me if I'm always hitting my 2nd or 3rd shot? He chooses my starting point each hole? Whatcha got? Any and all ideas welcome!

beat him by 2 strokes, you win the hole. 1 stroke, no blood. Tie or worse he wins Would be fun to spin a wheel for distance and/or roll dice for position (fairway, rough, bunker)

Hitting driver an extra 65 yards in 30 days
I’ve set myself a challenge over the next 30 days on social media. I’m currently carrying my driver a measly 197 yards on average, and I have to carry 262 yards or I have to shave my moustache. I’m a 6’3 and over 200 pounds. Any tips? I’m working mechanics for the first week then start some speed training and conditioning next week. As a fellow mustache man I feel a sense of responsibility in keeping that on your face homie. You got this! Totally agree with coach Ty that getting some power workouts mixed in will help…box jumps, etc. and mix in some of the medicine ball & cable work he recommends that replicate the golf swing. I added a solid 10-20 yards to most of my clubs after working with him for just a few months The other distance is going to come from the mechanics! I checked out your IG and you actually have really solid form. Biggest recommendation is to slow things down…seems to me your biggest area for improvement is timing. Your arms are doing most of the work bc your sequencing is off I have the same issue and the swing thought Ive been focusing on is “back to the target for as long as possible”. Really helps to get your arms to follow your hips
