Rope skipping, skip roping.
Anybody here doing skipping on the speed rope? How do you guys progress? What tips you can give for those who finally cut the rope and want to do tricks? My best game changer was good(expensive🤪) speed rope for 30-60mins cardio on endurance. All the benefits which such thing gives. And also lots of joy! After a month I've found out, I'm not making much more progress as it's too long. So I've cut it,till like waist or a bit higher as it typically recommended How much was my surprise, to figure out from 80-125 jumps, I'm barely making 25-35🤣🤦‍♀️ And can't handle anything now. Can't sew length back, can't get used to one yet. Few days later it turned out better. But still I feel like the starting of the workout starts from the wrong posing to twist rope around my hair or just foot😐😑😐 Doing tricks, it's just too much o coordination to do it for a long! In general I feel like I went to the square minus 1. Good thing, my hands don't get tired from keeping the length to not twist. Bad thing, I feel like I can do nothing and I've lost trust to the rope, to keep randomly get twisted in it. Having permanent need in enchanced hands control. What would be your recommendations on faster tricks learning and maybe on general endurance policy? I'd like to end up doing 1000-5000 jumps in one go. Not in multiple. Especially not in the 20 jumps go before twisting rope ☹️ I also found out after doing slow jumps with weighted 2.5-3kg rope, speed one feels like wonder. Sort of like when you swim with fins and after without. How do I enchance the quality and quantity of my jumps to shorten workout, while achieving goals? Will gym or other exercises on the involved muscles help me out here or what are the ways to reach there ASAP?

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert Hey Brandon. Thank you very much for your clear as always breaking down into pieces. You always make me feel like all the ideas I've got, finally got some structure. Thanks to your experience! I'll try tricks first. Reg clean rhythm, I feel like my hands not really making it that straight as you describe and as any speed rope video would show. Idk why, but I feel more of drifting and some hands panicking which leads to chaos. I had drifting issue on the long rope, one of mistakes to slip. But I thought it was bc my hands getting tired to hold the length. Here I've made cut above belly line(before it would be till or above chest, handle arpund the armits line*I was scared to cut it))* Now according to standards it's not that short. But I still feel like hands movement to keep rope under control is somewhat a challenge. I even didn't get to the point of feeling my endurance heh Any tips of how to make this control solid and hands really handy and helpful, not randomish? Does it have something or everything to do with neuroconnections,so I might just put all my mind into hands control to make this brain connection faster and easier to follow to perform? I'm a bit faster, but I'm getting to the point. I'm just missing my mistakes and doing rookie thing to "spread" everywhere around. Which doesn't help obv,or maybe I'm just shocked of such difference from what ive used to, or everything together. Many thanks for your time, bud🍫

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert Ahah, probably hard to trust when you started to get hit by it 🤭 I've got the idea, I'll try this, thanks
any tips?
Fragile hands! So the issue is the weakest hands from girls among girls in armwrestling The idea to give some tone and strength to upper body, but more of "yoga type" muscles(the "invisible"), not hypertrophy ones. What would be your best experience of supersets and exercises? The more parts of body can be covered the better. But also would be great, to have some game changers as for an exercises Many thanks

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert Youre right, thank you for simplifying things. Im from dancing gymnasts background, so Id rather have it "invisible" than gym or fit body,as it is popular now. Having plenty of cardio and protein, I feel like its not really hard to get some. One day Ive seen my biceps, welp, I didnt expect that to be that fast(not like yours, but I didnt plan any to be seen at all😂) What about the knees in these exercises? Does it strengthen and covers such important parts? What about ammount of sets/reps to be efficient? P.s. It's actually very good idea, thank you! I was thinking of something alike, but needed someone more experienced in such fields as callisthenics to give real thing. Otherwise, it's too much or attention disfocus. You know what I mean?
What workout you would definitely recommend
Hey All. The question is what exercise or set, routine, techniques(including breathing) or any other activity was a game changer? Something what was 20% to give you 80% of results. Or something which defined your life on before and after. Or maybe it was something to feel "why didn't I do it earlier" Please share your experience, I'm eager to read everything. From just strat doing it to incredible skills development, supplements which boosted your results or just your good feelingover this

Progress vs Injuries. Is there a sweet spot?
For me this seems to be a cycle that tends to repeat over and over. I start training and making progress, I feel motivated, I push myself and see my body responding well until one day I suddenly start experiencing pain. It only takes one exercise with bad form and maybe a bit of additional weight to break you. In my case, it's usually tendons that give away. And they are soooo hard to recover. Right now I'm doing rehab for my patellar tendon which I got injured doing cossack squats around two months ago. Last week I started feeling pain in my shoulder (probably my rotator cuff again) and two days ago a bit of pain appeared in my elbow (tennis elbow maybe?). I've read in a post here that tendons take more time to adjust. Should I take it down a notch?

Hey,buddy. Idk,how good do you do your technique. But this and the proper rest time with listening to your body matters. While ago, I overtrained (lost technique too) and got really bad multiple fractures to recover till now. All your progress just gone, to start from very very little. Not even again, but overall. I didn't have anything serious before, and it was out of blue first injury. All because one day I just didn't take body seriously to put it lower than mind. Just saying. Maybe it will help you be more respectful to what you've got
