Today, we practiced the patterns โ€˜์•ˆ / ๋ชป / ์ž˜ / ์ž˜ ๋ชปโ€™ ๐Ÿ’ฌ โ€ข ์•ˆ = donโ€™t / not โŒ โ€ข ๋ชป = canโ€™t ๐Ÿšซ โ€ข ์ž˜ = well / good at ๐Ÿ‘ โ€ข ์ž˜ ๋ชป = not good at ๐Ÿ‘Ž Especially โ€˜์•ˆโ€™ โ€” itโ€™s such a simple grammar point, right? ๐Ÿ˜† But when you actually try to use it in real conversation, it doesnโ€™t come out as quickly as you think! โฑ๏ธ Thatโ€™s why in our Pattern class, our goal is to say one pattern over and over and over๐Ÿ” so it becomes natural and automatic! ๐Ÿ’ก Sign up our next session for FREE here! www.bibikorean.com

WELCOME GREG! ๐ŸŽ‰ Today, Teacher Soo taught us words and expressions used in Korean convenience stores. We also did a role-play ๐ŸŽญ, acting as a clerk and a customer. Todayโ€™s expressions : 1. ํ˜น์‹œ ๐Ÿค” โ€œํ˜น์‹œโ€ is often used when asking something politely or carefully. It can mean โ€œby any chanceโ€ in English, but it is also commonly used as an easy starter word when beginning a question. 2. ์˜๋งฅ ๐Ÿบ+๐Ÿฅƒ โ€œSomaekโ€ is a Korean drink made by mixing soju and beer together. The ratio of soju to beer is important , and many people have their own preferred mix.๐Ÿป

3/12/26 Free talk with Patterns (A1-A2)
๐ŸŽ‰ Teacher Soo led the class today! We made small break-out rooms and practiced speaking patterns for 30 minutes. Both teachers were in the rooms to give everybody feedback! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ’ก What we learned today: 1. ์ข‹์•„์š” (good) vs ์ข‹์•„ํ•ด์š” (like) โ€“ completely different! โš ๏ธ Be careful! Your muscle memory might make you say ์ข‹์•„์š” instead of ์ข‹์•„ํ•ด์š”. 2. ๋ฌด์Šจ (what) vs ๋ญ (what) โ€“ Both mean โ€œwhatโ€ in English, but ๋ญ โ†’ used with verbs ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ / ๋ฌด์Šจ โ†’ used with nouns. 3. V๋Š” ๊ฑฐ ์ข‹์•„ํ•ด์š” โ€“ When you want to say โ€œI like swimmingโ€ ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ or โ€œI like cookingโ€ ๐Ÿณ, you must use this grammar pattern! You can find the class materials in the chat. I'll see you next week!
