16 Methodological tools for solving every passage
Hi, group! Almost a year ago I started writing a small "booklet" compiling the most effective tools I use and teach my students to use for solving methodologically any passage's difficulty either technical or musical. These are tools that many of us use most of the time but I never saw them all together systematically explained. The pdf was first distributed in spanish with great feedback from all over and I have now translated it into english and share it with you. The text is Creative Commons License. I'm not in the bussiness of monetizing my materials. I prefer to share with everybody, but if you think it is useful and want to contribute to the cause I won't get mad about it. Just let me know. You are free to use this as you see fit, share it with whom ever you think may profit from it and teach from it, if you think it is adaptable to your teaching process. I have posted some videos in my Facebook and Instagram pages (in spanish) about the uses and reasons behind each tool and you are welcome to look for them. IÂŽll probably also upload them to Youtube in a while with subs. I hope you'll enjoy them. Feedback is very welcomed!!

Thank you for sharing this Ariel, I saw your Spanish videos but didn't understand anything from what you were saying 😅 I'll take a look at the booklet in the upcoming days, a bit busy at the moment, and I'm glad you're working to release the videos with subs, that'll be so helpful!

@Ariel Elijovich I hear you, I feel the same about French in my case... For sure if automated subs works enough that'd be great, looking forward to this!
Disappearing Like A Horse With No Name?
Is this site going to disappear into the dessert like a horse with no name? ==== I've been through the desert; On a horse with no name; It felt good to be out of the rain; In the desert, you can't remember your name; 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain;

I hope not, but building traction isn't easy. I don't find Skool's format very engaging. While the categories function somewhat like tags, it's difficult to navigate since there aren't dedicated sections for specific themes and there's no hierarchy. It becomes a bit like a Facebook feed, for quick sharing, but difficult for collaboration and more in-depth discussions. Also, the lack of organized and planned activities, such as Open Mics, Challenges, or technical workshops that combine live discussions and videos, doesn't help to create the necessary participation and contributions, IMHO.
The Sound of Eigg - Vincent Lindsey-Clark
A lovely piece I asked Vincent to write for a Scottish themed album. Can you hear the piping section ?

A beautiful piece, beautifully played on a beautiful instrument! 👌
En Tus Manos by Eduardo DĂaz
Little musical moment to wish a speedy recovery to my friend Scott Ouellette, who is quietly recovering from heart surgery... he is also the one who makes the musical engraving for Eduardo. Thanks for listening

@Stewart Kelly Should the title be «Technique Class Recording 4th Dec» instead? The video quality seems to be very low, like 720p?

@Stewart Kelly No worries, yes now it's clearer, thanks!
