Congrats on the great month, Charlie. Working with 10 clients solo is awesome. Your workflows must be absolutely dialled in. I've been offering copywriting/content/ghostwriting services and consulting to clients since the end of 2024. Based on my convos with other ghostwriters, most said they maxxed out at 5 clients when they were solo. I've never got that high (most I've done is 3 done-for-you and 5 consulting/done-with-you) Do you offer consulting calls? I'd be curious to learn more about how you work. So glad they're fixing this. There was a period there where the incentives were leading to a lot of slop content on the X feed. Great bump up in your earnings the last 6 or so weeks.

Thanks for sharing, Charlie. Makes sense. A productized service gets treated as more of a commodity. If you want to stay solo then doing non-scalable but a highly differentiated (because of the client's trust in your taste and ability to deliver results) service will be better as you're experiencing because you can work with less clients and charge more per.

I cross a lot of my X stuff to Threads via third-party scheduler but never logon to the platform. The other day I happened to take a look at my Threads analytics to compare to X and was shocked: Threads (last 30 days): 111 Followers ~100,000 impressions X (30 days) 102,000 followers ~700,000 impressions 1000x more followers on X than Threads but only 7x more impressions. And I posted more on X because it's my primary social media and I don't cross post everything over to Threads. Last 30 days is a similar ratio of impressions 8x more on X than Threads with still 1000x more followers on the former.
