Last night I got a call from a local pig mom. Apparently, during our big ice storm her fencing was damaged. She has 2 piggies that are now escaping. She recently lost her job. I ordered her feed last night. Now, I am getting ready to head to Home Depot to get 2 sections of fencing. Part of the cost of the fencing is being covered by membership fees this month. I thought you should know you are making a difference just by being here. ❤️.

So I had a pile of clean sheets. Probably 6 or 7 pairs. I left the basket on my bed. I completely forgot, until just now. Well, Tilly & Daisy ripped them to shreds and nested with them. WTH!!

The other day i approved a wonderful adopter who has a 6month old. She got him from a breeder but when she was searching pig groups she realized the huge problem there is w piggies. So she decided she wanted to rescue a brother or sister for Daniel. As luck would have it, I am working another hoarding case in TN. Many piglets. The 9 week old ones are already weaned and eating pellets. I prefer babies stay w their mamas until 12 weeks but its really bad there. So, I allowed this princess to be homed. Less than 24 hours later, Daniel & his little sister, Eleanor are bffs!

I am finalizing the next couple of lessons to drop into our 501c3 Course in the Library. I want to know your opinion. There is no wrong answer. Do you thing a 501c3 status makes a rescue more reputable? If yes, why?
