Hello my lovely MYAL knitters 🧶 I need to share a change of plan with you, and I want to be honest about why. It has been a difficult few days for me and I have been quite affected. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will very likely now what I am referring to. Right now, I am not in the right place to host a live celebration the way I planned. And I do not want that to take away from what this event was meant to be: a celebration of YOU and all the work you have done. For many of you, this was your first all-over colourwork sweater, your first steek, your first time trying something out of your comfort zone. And that deserves to be celebrated properly, not under a dark cloud. So here is what I would love you to do instead. And since it got cooler again today I could actually wear it right away. It turned out to be just a tiny bit larger than I usually prefer but I guess it leaves room for cake and icecream 😉 The yellow is Cool Wool Vintage from #LanaGrossa and the color is a merino bobble I had made from #picktheyarn on Etsy

The blocking took me a bit… but the knitting was so much fun. I used Lana Grossa Wool throughout - Cool Wool Big Vintage in blue and brown and some degrade sock wool, Meilenweit Corormix together with Setasuri in light blue for the third color. For the dash of pink on the cuffs and I used the pink of the Cool Wool Big Vintage. I just love the Vintage version of the Cool Wool line because it not a pure color but varies between light and dark… such a pretty effect and I think it worked great on this one…

Well, almost… taking care of the lose ends an blocking are just not my favorite parts of the project…
