Airport diaries ✈️
A bunch of random thoughts: Heading to Phuket for a few days. I always choose not to use the walking escalator (or whatever you call it) just so I can get more steps in 😆 Trying to get 5000 steps before boarding 🤙 Big W for Thailand carrying protein shakes and hard boiled eggs at the airport 🙏 Thinking about getting my second coffee before 7:30 AM 🤔 Have a solid day, everybody❤️

Loving the tips, and really these small hacks are mind changing! Have a safe journey!
Day 4: Movement Hacks
This days learning was truly mind-changing. I realised that every bit of movement counts, and that it’s easy to weave more movement into daily activities with little effort. I reached 9,558 steps yesterday and even took a short walk after dinner!

@Darren Liu My toxic but lovable habit is saying ‘it’s fine’ and then quietly optimising everything.

@Darren Liu Right now, I’m proud of myself for actually taking some time for myself each day.
Day 3 : Execution
I have decided that my holiday/weekend anchor will be to eat at least 140 g of protein per day (I realise I usually don't, and it would be a good target!). I tracked my meals for the past 1 day, and these were the meals! The home-cooked ones didn't look as nice as the ones when I ate out >.< (I think everyone can probably guess which one it is.)
Day 3 : Execution
Day 0 and 1 : Foundations
Today I weighed in at 85.55 kg. My initial target is to lose approximately 0.8% of my total body weight per week, which works out to about 0.68 kg per week. My overarching goal is to make sustainable lifestyle changes over the next 12 weeks. I understand that meaningful change takes time, and I’m committed to the process for as long as it takes. By the end of 12 weeks, I aim to lose around 8 kg while maintaining lean muscle mass. I will also remain consistent with my current training routine, which includes 4 days of strength training and 3–4 days of spin classes each week.

@Darren Liu Heya! Understand the concern, and definitely it's quite a bit. Still, for me at the moment it feels sustainable,it'sce it's been quite the norm recently over the past year or so (though in actuality it's not every day; sometimes its a strength morning followed by a spin class on weekend, so there's essentially one rest day a week). I do admit, though, I slack occasionally and sometimes take an extra day off (depending on how heavy the week is). haha, but overall I kept it up because it’s kinda like therapy for me >.<. Away from the working world. 😅
