Twinsick original - love the sound they went for and trying a spin on it, what do we think so far? Vocals probably need more processing into the mix maybe? Calling all help on this and or determining if its on to the next

Niceeee i like the euphoric feeling from the stutters in the drop. The biggest feedback from me is the chord progression doesnt feel like its moving the energy forward/complimenting the vocals enough. Maybe moving through the chord progression in half the time? The first thing i hear is that vocal chop idea so ideally, I’d wanna hear it in the drop too since i’d consider it the “main thing” of the song. That’ll help fill the drop so that the vocal is the main thing and the stutter synths/drums/all other elements will support the main thing. After you get a good main idea for the drop, feel free to be picky on your sound/sample selection. Ask yourself “does this element contribute to the overall feeling i want to convey?” If yes, keep it. If no, then try something else. I treat my music like a movie where I dont want there to be any filler scenes. Every scene in the movie needs to contribute to the overall plot

@Louis St. John yeah like the first couple chords are held a little long for my taste. Again your opinion is the most important to whatever feels right for you in the end is best
Brian Ramsey Intro
What's up yall, I'm Brian and I live in Charlotte, NC but originally from South Florida. I'll never forget my first college pregame where they played only EDM with no vocals and I remember thinking how garbage is this. Look at me now, I truly love it. Some of my favorite artists (as you can tell its pretty tech house heavy) are Odd Mob, itsmurph, Twin Diplomacy, Chris Lake, Discip, Devault, and Disco Lines to name a few. Outside of traditional EDM I am a HUGE Tame Impala fanatic. He is the only music I have fully downloaded on Spotify and of the ~50 flights I took last year he was pretty much the only thing I would listen to. I'm still pretty new into my artist journey and have been learning how to produce and DJ for a little over a year now. Alex and I have been super close since our middle school basketball tryout (neither of us made the team), and I've been to countless Leondis shows, even when there used to be no people there. Going to all those shows and festivals with him showed me what was possible and that it can be a real possibility for me too if I put my mind to it. Super stoked to meet all of you and looking forward to getting to know all of you better!

Dang you’ve been there since day 1! Super excited to connect with you more and i love the inspirations you follow!
What's New
What are we listening to right now that's lighting that fire underneath? I've been playing "Through My System" by itsmurph probably at least 10x a day and my next door neighbors must hate me. I think he's gonna blow up this year... you heard it here first.

honestly, i feel like the type of music we make is “underground” right now. We still hear influences of golden era/mainstage stuff from big headliners like Martin Garrix and Zedd but in my area, it’s mostly tech house/techno at the local clubs. So ive been finding a lotta deep cut edits/remixes on soundcloud for my dj sets. Here’s one that’s pretty inspirational to my sound! https://on.soundcloud.com/Kscg7xwOCXqXktNgsm

What's up Quiet Hours! I'm Louis St. John (LoSt.) and excited to get to know everyone. I've been into the EDM and music scene since high school with inspirations from Gryffin, Kygo, Avicii, Alan Walker, Bryce Vine, Quinn XCII, Two Friends, (our one and only Leondis). I picked up DJing during COVID and started getting into FL studio and production about a year and a half ago or so. I can't say I have a defined sound, but love the melodic house, stutter house, progressive house vibe and excited to learn from the community and share as well! Cheers to the music makers and feel free to follow the journey on insta @lost.musicofficial_ !

And Leondis 😉
My song with Two Friends hit 100k!!!
It’s almost Friday so I figured I’d toss this in here now, my official remix with Two Friends hit over 100k FIRST WEEK!!!!! This is absolutely insane and I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that happened. I remember the day I found out I was getting slotted for the official remix I FaceTimed Alex and was freaking out. He was fucking stoked for and at the same time he told me that he was also getting another official remix. We were just two dudes giggling and shit on FaceTime. Little bit of time later and we 100k deep.
