Breakfast observations
Interesting … I tried to have a small bowl of glutenfree cereal with milk for breakfast, or some greek yoghurt with a banana, tahini and a teaspoon of honey - instead of my usual bulletproof coffee. I have breakfast around 8 am. What I‘m noticing is: around 11 am I‘m very hungry and it seems to give me cravings for sweet things. Especially on cereal days. Green yoghurt last much longer and doesn’t give me the sweet tooth as much. If I have a bulletproof coffee (with a scoop of collagen protein), I don’t have any cravings at all and get hungry around 1 or 2 pm, and more for substantial food, like chicken and veggies. What does this want to teach me in terms of me being a Gaia?

I‘ll pick my sweet hubby up at his office after work for coffee (or Eiskaffee, a German treat of coffee with vanilla icecream).
Never Skip a Meal
Think skipping a meal will help with weight loss? It can actually make things harder—especially after 40. Here are 3 things that can happen when you skip meals: 1️⃣ Your metabolism can slow down as your body tries to conserve energy. 2️⃣ Your body may become more likely to store energy when food finally arrives. 3️⃣ You can get overly hungry later, making it much harder to make the choices you normally would. I don't know about you, but when I go too long without eating, I can't eat fast enough and I over eat. What do you notice most when you go too long without eating—low energy, cravings, or feeling extra hungry later?

There’s a point where I lose concentration and may or may not be a tiny little bit cranky 🙈 Also I then tend to grab and devour whatever comes my way, often nuts (at the office) or cheese (at home).
How do you manage your stress?
This is a question I ask my clients and some of the answers I get are… I yell at my kids! or I drink alcohol. I eat, why do you think I hired you? All kidding aside... Stress causes elevated levels of cortisol and inflammatory conditions in the body. This can lead to constant cravings and put your body into a fat storage mode. It is essential to learn how to better manage your stress. What do you do to manage your stress?

Honestly, it may seem basic, but: I'm praying. Reminding myself of God's presence and guidance helps me calm down immediately. If I don't know what to pray or don't find the words, I'm praying in tongues, or I'm putting in my earphones and tune into Joyce Meyer's podcast. And if I have the opportunity, like enough time until my next commitment, I'm doing all of this while doing a walk outside. Moving my body always helps me clear out stress and negative energies out of my system. If I'm super stressed and throwing an internal fit - I go scrub the kitchen or take out the vaccum cleaner. These are things I can put muscle power into without breaking anything 😂

Great! I‘m not at level 3 yet, but curious: did you also include the ideal body types for for which the meals are a great fit? 🙃
