Sneak Peak: What’s Coming
We’ve got some exciting things in the works at IPA. This week we’re beginning development on a brand-new course covering Bayesian Epistemology and Rational Belief Formation alongside one of the leading scholars in the world working in this area. The goal isn’t just to teach Bayes’ Theorem. We want to help you understand how rational belief revision actually works, how evidence affects probability, how cumulative cases are built, and how these principles apply to questions about Christianity, history, miracles, science, and everyday reasoning. We’re also going to be building practical tools alongside the course, including: 📊 A Bayes Calculator 📈 Evidence-weighting tools 🧠 Interactive probability visualizations 🔬 Resources to help you apply Bayesian reasoning to real-world arguments and evidence If you had a chance to learn a topic with us: what topic? And what scholars would you want to hear from?

Sounds like a perfect way to show how the darwinian PoE affects the case for christian theism! Super useful and spiritually edifying as well.
Criteria of Catholicism
Hey guys! Over the next three weeks I’ll be reading Steven Ray’s “Upon This Rock” as part of my summer research project to determine if I should join the Catholic church. For this project, I wanted to develop some criteria that, if answered, would compel conversion. It seems kinda easy, for example, “Jesus set up an infallible Petrine office” could be a criterion. My question is, which exact propositions should be proven true for one to accept Catholicism? Also any input on the book I’m about to read would be appreciated.

Social Media Course
Looks like some of you are interested in getting a "Doing Apologetics on Social Media" course. I have over 13 years of experience in social media management that I'm excited to share with those of you who are looking to do apologetics online for the masses. As I build out this course as an addition to the amazing services Tim offers, I plan on hosting a weekly call for this but I need some information from you all first: 1. [[Standard Tier]] If I were to do a weekly call I would need to something either Tuesday or Thursday between 10am-3pm EST. I am a father so evenings aren't as flexible for me, and since I manage over a dozen clients, I would only be able to host this call for 1 hour weekly (or bi-weekly depending on the demand for this) **LET ME KNOW WHAT TIMES WORK FOR YOU IF YOU'RE INTERESTED 2. [[Premium Tier]] I probably won't be able to get a finished product done until summer-ish. Because I want to provide as much value for those interested in taking a course on this as I can. I also plan on providing resource lists as part of my course as well. Chime in if you have any requests for this course, or what times work for you for a weekly group call. Lots to come!

Hey everybody! my name is Ben, I’m from Vancouver, Canada. I’ve been learning the philosophy of religion ever since I deconstructed a couple years ago, but - praise the Lord - a good friend lovingly reminded me that I’m dumb. So I’ve been evangelizing at UBC as I finish my degree in mechanical engineering and using philosophy and theology as a way to grow closer to Christ. I want to liven up the mood in this community! While my 9 roommates know I love intense analytical discourse and debates, we devalue the power of humour in this inherently social activity of learning and building our worldview. I hope I can be a light to you all as we seek the truth together. as far as achievement goes, I’d love to get a firm grasp on teaching dense and rich concepts to my own community as a means of spiritual enrichment and finding our way towards the Good Life.

Hey! I’m an engineering grad discipling students as a campus missionary. Theology and philosophy are a means to serve and know the Lord Jesus!
