Hey hey. I am Ben, a sports and event photographer from Nottingham, UK. Most of my time is spent shooting ice hockey (under Eye on the Puck) at every level across the UK. I am wanting to make the transition from corporate work to photography and have realised that there is little to no money in hockey. I'm now firing out inquiries left, right, and centre with limited success!

Photo hoarder…
Anyone else deal with hoarding their raw images? For instance after a shoot I’ll keep everything, even the misses. Storage is becoming a nightmare because of this. For those that overcame it, did you just decide to rip the bandaid off and only keep what you edit? Such a scary thought to me for some reason lol.

I used to horde everything just in case I ever wanted to go back and re-edit, but I was filling a 4TB drive a season! Hit the realisation that with the amount of photos I take, the likelihood of revisiting anything from a year ago is practically zero, so now unless I would deliver it to the club, it gets deleted.
