Anyone else deal with hoarding their raw images? For instance after a shoot I’ll keep everything, even the misses. Storage is becoming a nightmare because of this. For those that overcame it, did you just decide to rip the bandaid off and only keep what you edit? Such a scary thought to me for some reason lol.
In the complete opposite lol, I shoot, edit, create final link of keepers in a Smugmug like and then delete everything, if it doesn’t make it into my keeper link then it has to go it the 🗑️
People are normally surprised but I edit on an iPad or cell phone. I think laptops are overrated, Definitley useful but I’m a creature of habit and if it ain’t broke don’t fix it type guy.
@Daven Roland that’s going to be very challenging for your camera because it isn’t capable of handling high iso, trying to get one of those prime lenses would really help you a lot, not as much reach but focus on action by the basket and be able to keep iso down
I'll go first, last night I shot night one of the High Limit Racing season finale at Texas Motor Speedway. Here are a few shots from the night! Racing ended around 10:30pm, home by 11:30pm and had to deliver my photos within 4 hours. Back up early today for family time and then headed back to track this afternoon for night 2. Chai Tea's and energy drinks for me today!
@Jd Harris on the first one I’d bring the saturation down, I never keep photos of their heads, feet, arms or the ball is cut off or even slightly cut off.
First lesson is up — RAW vs JPEG, the never-ending argument. Find it in the Classroom tab. More coming this week. Let’s discuss it in the comments and stay open minded lol 😊
@Ricky Lewis check out my video about raw vs jpeg and what info at night with jpeg plus in camera settings it works wonders I’m the opposite I’ll shoot raw in daytime and often jpeg at night with those on camera settings
