Social Media Lesson: Stop Wishing for Virality—Start Building It 🚀
If you’re waiting for your content to magically go viral, here’s the wake-up call: Virality isn’t luck—it’s a system. With billions of users creating content daily, social media rewards intentionality, consistency, and value. Let’s break it down: Step 1: Understand the Algorithm Social media platforms are powered by algorithms designed to reward content that grabs and holds attention. They’re not against you—they’re waiting for you to give them what they need. ✅ Focus on retention. Can you stop the scroll in 3 seconds? Can you keep someone engaged for the whole video? 💡 Pro Tip: Hook your audience immediately with a compelling question, bold statement, or unexpected visual. Step 2: Context > Content Your content may be great, but if it’s not packaged for your audience, it will fail to connect. ✅ Apply the generalist principle. Make your content relatable and engaging to a wider audience while staying true to your expertise. Example: Instead of “Top 5 Finance Tips for Entrepreneurs,” try “How I Built Financial Freedom Starting with $0 in My 30s.” Step 3: Formats Trump Trends Trends are fleeting, but formats are timeless. ✅ Find a repeatable format. Whether it’s “How-to” videos, “Man-on-the-Street” interviews, or engaging tutorials, master a format that resonates with your audience. 💡 Pro Tip: Study high-performing content in your niche. Compare what works vs. what doesn’t to refine your strategy. Step 4: Build Consistency with Momentum Social media success is a long game, not a one-hit wonder. ✅ Commit to creating regularly. Whether it’s daily, weekly, or bi-weekly, consistency is key. ✅ Learn and adapt. Analyze underperforming posts to improve, and double down on what works. Step 5: Engage Like It’s One-on-One Social media is personal. Speak directly to your audience as if they’re sitting across from you. ✅ Avoid “Hey everyone!” Instead, say, “Have you ever felt like your content isn’t getting seen?” Your Takeaway Social media isn’t just about posting—it’s about building trust, sharing value, and connecting authentically. Stop wishing for the algorithm to work for you—start learning how to work with it.

I agree. The truth is when the focus is on YOU vs What value you can provide, it hurts your metrics. Viral comes from people watching and engaging with something they relate to. This help me grow my social media’s.
The FLAME GAME....
As you may have noticed I lost my flame... life happened, time flew by and poof it was gone! I am SUPER sad about that BUT I would not have traded what I was doing for that flame.... my 2 little grands daughters, that I had not seen in 6 months showed up knocking on my door New Years Eve to surprise me.... I only had them for 48 hours and honestly I was so into absorbing them for that amount of time I just didnt even think about skool but...... here we are! Time for the FLAME GAME....... it ONLY take 10 activities a day for 30 days consecutively to get it back.... MARK MY WORDS I WILL HAVE IT BACK and .... now my goal is to keep it so my ENTIRE YEAR is filled with GREEN SQUARES..... Anyone else want to join the FLAME GAME with me?? I am going to create fun prizes for 30 days and then quarterly.. so our first goal is 30 days!!!! LET'S GO!!!

Thanks for sharing. In moments when I have a challenging day I just use those 10 activities to acknowledge comments with a like and like other comments as they contribute to the 10. This way at the very least it will be 5 mins if I cannot commit to being on Skool to read posts etc
The Multiple C Framework Commitment to Clarity
This post is for anyone on the fence about creating a community before they are ready: I was diagnosed with ADHD in July 2024 and after the assessment I told myself that if I can help anyone who has been late diagnosed identify it sooner and shift the way they relate to themselves then that will make me happy and more fulfilled. It all started with this first C: COMMITMENT Commitment: Even though I had only just been diagnosed it was my perspective that had changed in that moment and when that happened I was open to learning all the ways to change how I view my traits. I committed to being a guide/synthesizer. Courage: I had to just understand that if I don’t have the courage to create a community and learn as I do then I will never grow. I will just end up playing the perfectionist game of wait until I am ready but in reality I will never be ready I just need to start. Calls: I believe that the reason I am where I am today is because of the calls I have had with my community to find out what they want and the calls I have had with likeminded Skool community owners and mentors. This has to be the only calls you prioritise. If you cannot afford a mentor join a paid community that have weekly group calls. Capability: This will make you capable to position yourself as an asset because you are surrounded by winners and listen to all the things your community wants and crafting an offer from that data. Confidence: This will then make you confident in your abilities and it will help you attract more clients because they will see that you have the solution to their problems and you are also where they want to be. Contributions: This is an important step because you will find more likeminded people when you share your wins on Skool and comment under posts that resonate with you. This will create another C that is also very important CONNECTIONS! Collaborations: When you share wins and what matters to you it helps you attract potential collaborations. This could be an exchange in high ticket offers or maybe then contributing to your community with a module in your course. If you share meaningful comments under meaningful posts you will make meaningful collaborations.
