What does “being fit” mean to you now versus 10 years ago?
I know 10 years ago, for me, I just wanted to be lean, like see my ribs lean. Now, I want to be strong and lean. How has time changed your perception of your own fitness? @Margie Brennan @Katie Jagocki @Becky Brett @Michelle Parke @Val Zbezinski @Ariel Kestler @Corey Peacock @Sara Colon @Sarah Wambles @Abigail Cola

10 years ago I looked up and realized I gained a significant amount of weight due to a combination of stress and comfort. Even though out loud I said I just my body to be capable of doing things, I was definitely more obsessed with the number on the scale then actual capabilities. To me, "fit" meant a number that represented my relationship with gravity. Now,"fit" truly means what can this body do now? Especially what can it do now that I couldn't do before? Fit is not a destination for me anymore. It is a living breathing process of choosing my future self more often than not. It's also celebrating progress along the way.

Hi everyone! I'm Becky, living on Hilo side of Hawaii Island, and I'm here because my birthday is in a month. I have been doing so well since starting with Holly last fall, and I see this as a way to lock in so that this birthday I'm in the best shape of my life.(May 8th and I'll be 56) My biggest challenge is consistency without getting bored or rebellious.
