👀 I Spy a Skoolologist!
Another one of our Skoolology community members out there building. @Marama Elizabeth is growing Eaborn Living Academy, a community centered around reconnecting with nature through herbalism, permaculture, botanical remedies, and ancestral skills. And I have to give her a shout-out for this... 180 members and growing. 🌱 Love seeing what our members are creating beyond the walls of Skoolology. Keep growing, Marama. 🔎

Drop Your Skool Community Card and Link to Your Own Community
It's our 60 day celebration party here on Skool, and since we're going live at the top of every hour, we figured we'd run something simple alongside it. In the comments, drop your community card (aka profile image) and your own about page link. That's it, nothing else. The idea is to help everyone see what everyone else is building, and it makes it a lot easier for us to spot you when your ads come across our feeds. As a little bonus, I'll be running some of your cards through a few creative variations. Think of it as a fun what if, not a critique. (I'm even wearing my creativity shirt) So if your community is up and running, post your about page link and attach your current community card below.

@Todd Thornton Haha, 🤣I look so funny, not like me. Chat really likes "rustic" colors for natural things. I gave it to Canva. Thank you Magic Layers. Here it is with an actual photo of me, and four different background colors that are more aligned to my brand

📌Welcome to Skoolology!
We're so glad you're here. 👋 If you're building a community and wondering... - Why aren't my members engaging? - What should I improve first? - How do I build a community people don't want to leave? You're in the right place. Skoolology is a learning community for community builders who want to stop guessing and start improving. Together, we study what works, test ideas in real communities, and learn from each other's experiments. Before we talk about your community... Let's get to know you. 👋 Your first step takes about 10 seconds. 👇Drop ONE WORD in the comments below. It might be: • A value you live by. • A word that describes the community you're building. • Or simply a word that's meaningful to you today. We'll create something special from your word and welcome you personally. ❤️ We read every single one. Your next step When you've posted your word, head over to the next pinned post and take the 5-minute Community Snapshot. It will help you discover exactly what to improve next. Welcome! Donna & Todd Learn. Build. Lead.

Took the Score Your Community quiz? This is the thread. Drop your scorecard in the comments. Haven't yet? Eight questions, about three minutes: https://skoolology.netlify.app/ The quiz gives you a Copy my scorecard button, so pasting it here takes two taps and a quick comment. 1) Add your priority area and the first move you're making this week 2) Search comments for others with similar challenges Builders working on the same area will find you in this thread, and that is the entire point of this room. A few things to know before you post: 𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. Our own community read low on its first pass through the framework. A score is a map of where to work, not a grade on you, and the builders who post honest numbers are the ones who improve fastest. Nobody in this thread is keeping score on you. The framework already did, and now we get to work. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱. If your numbers came back strong but your community isn't booming yet, it means one of two things. Either the room is strong inside and people can't find it, which is a Reach problem, and Reach has different fixes than Build. Or the grading was a little generous, which happens to everyone scoring their own work, and the capstone in the course cures it with one rule: evidence for every number. Post your scorecard and say which one you suspect. Both are fixable, and both are more common than booming. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰, 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘆. You do need to be a member to comment or post. Some courses are in the private part, members only. So, share at whatever level feels right. The full scorecard is great if you're comfortable with it. If you'd rather keep your numbers private, one line does the whole job: "I scored lowest in Kinship, and I'm working on it this week." That's all the right people need to find you.

🌿 Welcome to Skoolology, @Marama Elizabeth! We're so glad you're here, and thank you to @Lynne Vella for sending you our way. You've already built something many community owners aspire to, so I have a feeling you'll have plenty to share as well as learn. I especially love that you're thinking about how to turn free members into happy paid members. 🤗 That's a conversation we're digging into a lot around here. Make yourself at home, jump into the discussions, and don't hesitate to share what's working in your community. Welcome aboard! 🌱
