Another year around the Sun🥳
Turned 36 today. No drinks. No cake. Competition is a few weeks out — the protocol doesn’t move for the calendar. But honestly? It doesn’t feel like a restriction. Because every day I’m working with who I want. Doing what I want. Living how I want. When you’re building something real, discipline stops feeling like sacrifice. The best gift you can give yourself is becoming the man you always knew you were supposed to be. Comment 💯 if you agree.

36?! You look younger than me, brother! Keep at it! :) 💯
Ready for the week?
What up yall. Do you have your week mapped out? Do you know when you’re working out? Do you know what you are eating and when? Do you know when you should be going to sleep? Do you have your evening routine? Simple questions that dictate your success more than anything else. What areas do you need to improve upon? Comment below.

My "Whens" are very fluid. I operate on about a 27 hour day, so it rotates. Sometimes I'm working out at lunchtime, sometimes at 3am. Same with waking up. But what I'm doing on each day? The workout, the food, etc? That's all locked in!
Happy Friday Kings!
What are some wins you had this far this month? For me I transition from my building phase to a maintenance phase in preparation for my Pro Qualifier show within the OCB I will start officially cutting next week. In other news. I am getting my mother her retirement home ready in Jamaica. I am really excited for her to have a place she can go near the beach.

That's super exciting! My best win in May was getting my diet back in check. I'd had a couple months prior full of weddings, celebrations and just generally being broke within the fallout of those. Stabilizing past that is a win, and I feel like it speaks to how health is my default state rather than someone I make an effort for anymore. To NOT diet and workout feels wrong now!
When should a man start to feel OLD?
This weekend I celebrated an elders 94th birthday! get this.. - he lives alone - he doesn't use a walker - he has all his mental faculties and guess what he said the secret to his longevity was? comment what you think bellow

I guess it depends if you're talking physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. People age at different rates in these different areas for sure. I feel physically younger in my 30's than I did at literally any point in my 20's, courtesy of my heart surgery and lifestyle shift. Emotionally I feel healthier, and mentally... Perhaps a bit of a decline? But that may be just existing outside of survival for the first time. I think it's very much a "use it or lose it" thing in all 3 areas. Exercise is good for the brain and heart, too. :)
Setting major goals!
What are your goals for the next 12 months? This past week I decided to stop being quite so vague with my bodybuilding ambitious, because that wishy-washy mentality was effectively giving myself a pass to not work as hard as I could. I already entered the scene with worse health and an older age than most folks, so I have to lock in completely if I want to achieve my goals. I'm aiming for a show in October 2027. Specifically, South Australia Titles B season Men's Physique. I've made myself a full countdown calendar and intend to fully weaponize my metric-tracking autism to do the following: 6 intense lifting workouts a week. 300 calories cardio a day. Bioimpedance scan at the start of every month. Progress photos at the start of every month. Tracking my cut/bulk cycles. Rating my daily diet adherence out of 10. Using MyFitnessPal to track macros. I just took my first round of photos, since it's day 1. Honestly, it's more grim than I realised. My bodyfat is sitting WAYY too high, so. 1 month aggressive cut, 9ish month bulk, then prep phase over the last 6 months before the show. Whilst I don't expect to win anything - to get on the stage and not embarrass myself is my goal - I know that my personal standards are going to mean that I have to TRAIN as though I do expect to win.
