Have you got stuck?
Do you like your present coffee morning ritual, or have you got a bit stuck in a rut? When did you last change it up?

I’ve been French pressing since I was 18… I do feel like I’ve perfected it now. It’s an easy brew for tired eyes in the morning, very little can go wrong. Having said that… one morning I did pour myself in the grinder! 😳

@Luke Gilbert woah, just re read that. Must have written in a hurry. Was meant to say “poured muesli in the grinder” !!
Nothing warms my heart more....
Than making good coffee of people! I've just had electrians round my house, and when the work was all completed... I said "let me get you a coffee for the road"... they were super excited and asking all the questions about how can they get there coffee great at home, sharing pictures of there espresso machines and asking how can they improve, what beans they should use... how can they steam milk ect. Coffee brings the people together and it really warms my heart!

I genuinely get all excited, when trades people come over. Treat them well with coffee, and usually they do their best for you. Having said that… most uk traders drink the “builders tea” !
Thinking of Starting a Coffee Shop? Do This ONE Thing First!
I hear it all the time, both inside and outside this community: "I want to open my own coffee shop!" It's exciting, right? Owning your own coffee shop is a fantastic dream—and for some of you, already a reality. But the journey to launching a successful coffee shop involves many important steps. It can feel overwhelming knowing where to begin. So, here's the big question: What's the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT step you should take before opening your coffee shop? 👇 share your thoughts, ideas or experiences below.

Having a great business idea is different to a business model. Build a strong team (and treat them right) who know your product and who embrace the community is really key. Get your branding and marketing right. Know your audience, but don’t try to cater for everyone. Find out what sells. Get friendly with your local businesses. … just a few lessons I’ve been learning from Colin Harmon’s book - “Everything I know about running coffee shops.” I realise that wasn’t just one thing… what would you say Luke?
AI Just Roasted My Coffee Technique—Literally!
Ever wondered what happens when you ask a sassy AI assistant how to perfect your pour-over or roast dense beans? I recently chatted with Maya from Sesame.com, an AI that’s surprisingly sharp (and slightly cheeky) about specialty coffee. From water quality tests to roasting dense beans, this conversation was eye-opening and entertaining! If you’re serious about brewing better coffee or just curious about how AI might shape our coffee journeys, check out the full chat here: I’d love your thoughts! Is AI the future of coffee education? I love to track the evolution of my latte art skills. The internet has taught me so much. Namely Golden Brown instagram reels. Milk texture is key, technique follows.
