This year, I want to put out more positivity. More content. More authenticity. Following trends help with gauging what the audience is watching, but I don't want to be just another person who hops on a trend reel. I want to make a lasting impression. What about you?

As we are wrapping up the year, do you have your plans and goals lined up? Will you be posting more? Will you be filming more content? Will you be pursuing different strategies to collaborate with local vendors? People always say the next year will be the "best year yet," but in reality, it is inevitable to have obstacles, fires, and daily headaches that put a wrench in our plans. How do you plan to overcome it given your experience in 2025?

When leading your team, what's your holy grail approach? Are you in the trenches with your team or do you allow your team to navigate the business without you most of the time? For me, it's a mix of both. I am always approachable if they need help, but I set expectations and boundaries. I want to see how they shine under pressure and how they handle hard situations (problem-solving). I don't believe in passive aggressive approaches so my communication is usually very upbeat, but also straight-forward if I notice anything that needs improvement. Praise is important to a team! As much as we want to keep order, we must recognize that without our team, the business wouldn't be as fruitful. I send them reviews we receive on Yelp and Google praising our food and services because it's not about me, it's about us all as a whole.
