Toxic Positivity
Let’s do a little Sunday check-in, friends! 🙌 We’re nearing the end of the month, and it seems summer is flying by! Before we know it, it’ll be fall and then winter. Because life is happening in the blink of an eye, there’s never been a better time to take charge of your health. Today is the day. Now is the time. ⏳ Taking charge of your own life is one of the most empowering journeys you can ever embark on. Did you know writing things down brings them to life and makes your thoughts visible? 👉 I encourage you to take some time this week to write down a list of positive outcomes that will happen if you start today and commit to your goals for the rest of the year. 👉 Then take some time to write down a list of negative consequences if you don’t do what you need to do for the rest of the year. It’s no fun to look at the negative consequences, but sometimes, it’s just what we need to push us in the right direction. ➡️ It brings reality to the surface. We’re so used to the “toxic positivity” culture today. In reality, we need both positivity and negativity. You can’t swing too far one way. It’s similar to needing both truth and grace. I encourage you to work on this list of both positive and negative outcomes in the following week. 👌 Don’t forget our last June meeting is THIS EVENING at 7pm CDT / 8pm EST - TAKING ACTION: ✅ Sunday check-in time! Recommendations
Does anyone here have ADHD? One thing I haven't been able to kick is my adderall medication. I've tried some natural "focus" rollers with essential oils in them, but nothing I've tried is strong enough and I always have to go back to my medicine. Has anyone tried something thats worked for them to naturallyhelp focus and stay on task?
Loaded Sweet Potato Chili Fries 😋
Alexia Sweet Potato Fries (Walmart or Publix) Leftover 3 Bean Chili (grass-fed/finished beef) Cashew Cheese (melted) Primal Kitchen brand Ranch Bake fries as instructed on package. When fries are hot & crisp, warm up chili and pour over fries. Add some cashew cheese (or other dairy free cheese), and pop back into the oven until cheese is melted. Drizzle with the ranch. 😘 🤌🏻
