not sure....
....if I am.not suppose to be posting this. I tried posting twice and both times it didn't work. So third times the charm. If something doesn't work after trying twice & trice I'll usually give up. Basically I was saying I was missing a piece that helps me pull through with the new challenge. I am pretty positive I found it with a certain book. One of the tasks is meditation with breathwork, so this aligns with the tasks in both Level 2&1. I'm really glad I came across this while reading an article about self love. It's THE one thing I've always tried to do/accomplish and never succeeded sadly. Everyone tells you to just love yourself, do things for you, practices self care and mental diet. Well that's easy to say if you don't have trauma and ADHD or neither.... Having to always work 18x harder than anyone else is literally physically depleting. And often times we already run on fumes just showering, eating and doing other stuff that's just normal for everyone else. Anyway I'm glad I stumbled across this and I am reading it, even though I simultaneously am watching yt. Yeah not great, but better than not reading/doing something for myself at all.

@Sd Brown if you stay long enough. This is prescribed by doctors in Japan. fully recognised as medicine

Finding day 3 meditation on replay?
EDIT….Found it! It is under the mini challenge 🥰 I am watching on replay and the video cuts off before the meditation on day 3. Can I find it somewhere? Apologies to do first posting with an ask Jim. I’m just coming to terms with this self diagnosis and struggling to share in community, as the realisations are so overwhelming

I don't have the answer for you. I just wanted to welcome you. You will often find that here people take you as you are. Just be gentle on yourself. days will unfold. your knowledge will settle. Yes it is overwhelming but it won't always be like that. I hope you find the link soon.

@Kim White Yep. you are not alone in feeling this. I am 56 and I felt like having wasted 56 years BUT and it is a beautiful but once you overcome the sadness, you are now finding what you need. This is teh one moment, hand on heart where I can say, trust the process. Feel free to DM me anytime
First insight
Just finished the first section of my ADHD Snapshot and something clicked. I always thought it was a contradiction that I could solve problems no one else could but couldn't finish basic admin. Turns out it's not a contradiction at all - it's the same wiring doing exactly what it was built to do. That reframe alone was worth it.

gosh yes. admin lives in teh have to do list, chores, bracing yourself because you are not interested. but ask you to do what you love and you open the dam to your inner energy. Brace yourself. the reframing is so helpful. Make sure you use the AI and try the microphone if you haven't yet. It makes a huge difference to typing but it is something you need to experience. the feedback on tehre is so helpful and complete the tasks you are doing each week.

@Gordon McCabe I was personally dead against speaking out loud. I have changed my mind. Obvioulsy tehre will be settings where typing is teh only option (privacy) but I got more out of the voice option. Good luck.
Day 3
Just got to a section of my ADHD assessment and realized the phrase "what is wrong with me" only shows up when something matters deeply to me. The same books I "couldn't organize" for my kids, I moved an entire room of furniture for this week. Turns out my follow-through was never the problem. The stakes were.

interesting one. funny how some words appear in out mind and they mean something totally different. Thank you for sharing, it is very useful.
didn't quite get it
I didn't understand how to use the template within the Ai for one. I did what I thought was meant.... DEFINETLY do NOT appreciate it saying I "earned my rest". Earning rest is the same as earning food or even water & air.... Not to be a negative Nelly in anyway, but sht like this is triggering af for me. Like I've had enough smack being thrown at me and I never appreciated it, definitely even less today and especially NOT from Ai.....Really fighting tooth n nail every hr of every day with the situation I am in I don't need fake "encouragment" (I'm too tired n wired to find the correct word I am looking for in any language sadly). Basically we have saying this is "Sch.... in Geschenkpapier, bleibt Sch....". But not even that is what I am looking for to describe what I am feeling.

tell it the words do not sit right with you. simples. now and then words just rub, it is meant as "you did well, now go and rest" but if the words are not helpful to you, just feed it back. It won't learn about you unless you tell it. bring this post to it so it understand teh context. I hope this helps
