Short E vs. Short I
Even if he can say it, she still can’t read it. 😆

words out of contxt become a challenge for me. Always there is room for improvement.
When I was like 10 years old, I remember going to the golden wedding celebration of my great grandparents. It was a gathering with many uncles, aunts and cousins. They had 12 kids, so it was big reunion. I meet relatives I didn’t know I had.

Welcome to the oldest apartment block in the area! The Balmes de Montbrun . This neighborhood is not "fancy" yet. The stone walls are very strong, but there is no heater. If you feel cold, you must be brave. Or, you can share your bed with a family of wild pigs to stay warm! I went for a walk there this morning with my friends and Tchoupy ; We had a very simple lunch from my backpack , we ate one apple. They say "an apple a day keeps the doctor away," but my friend Jacques, the doctor stayed with us anyway! I also did not send any mail, so my friend Bernard, the postman had no work to do. We ate everything and left nothing behind. BTW On our way back, I stopped at the local florist. It wasn't very busy, so I had a lot of choice. The shop was enormous! It stretched for km! It was a beautiful walk , we'd " Rolling Stones" ! Today , we "ROCKED" ! QUESTIONS : Do you think the "wildflower shop" has better prices than the city florist? Is one apple enough to keep the doctor away, or do we need to eat the whole bag?

@Evelyne Vincent yes, I do. She’s a rescued doggie. We adopted her two and a half years ago. Now, she is living her best life after being found with puppies under an abandoned house in a bad area. Her name is Ginger.
Private high schools in the USA
There are three main types of high schools in the USA: public, private, and charter schools. Private schools are typically the most expensive because they do not receive government funding and must cover their costs through tuition and donations. Private schools often offer smaller class sizes and more specialized or enriched programs, and they tend to invest heavily in facilities and education resources. Last month, I attended an orientation with my close friends for their children at Deerfield Academy, one of the most prestigious private schools in the country. The campus was stunning.

I want kids, but I know they cost money. I better get ready.

Thank you coach @Shane Peterson to learn me British English from time to time 😂 The last episode : The Examination I noted two interesting expressions. English idiom: "To cut and run." means to make a quick or sudden escape from a difficult, dangerous, or losing situation. It usually implies leaving something behind to save yourself from further trouble. The Origin The phrase comes from 18th-century sailing. If a ship was in a great hurry to leave—perhaps because of an enemy attack or a sudden, dangerous storm—the crew wouldn't take the time to pull up the heavy anchor. Instead, they would cut the anchor rope and let the ship run with the wind. My own adventure : Around 40 years ago a big storm came in the middle of the night while we were in our tent. We had to "cut and run" to the 2CV car to stay dry. Expression . To Scrape Through = "just barely made it." To "scrape through" means to succeed at something by the narrowest possible margin. You didn't win easily or do a perfect job; you barely finished or passed. If you were any slower or made one more mistake, you would have failed. The Origin The expression comes from the physical act of passing through a space that is almost too small. - The Imagery: Imagine a large car driving through a very narrow stone gate. If the car passes but the sides "scrape" against the walls, the car scraped through. It made it to the other side, but it was a very close call! - In History: In the 1800s, students at universities used this to describe passing an exam with the lowest possible grade. They didn't "sail through" (pass easily); they "scraped through." - My own adventure : When I took my driving license, I remember I arrived late and forgot my identity card. But in the end, I "scraped through". I didn't believe it was possible! AND JUST FOR FUN I picked up a funny definition by Jamila Ranjha. Do you know @Serge Gray your new nickname, ready to use on Sundays ? Mister Dick Tation 😂
