What does “being fit” mean to you now versus 10 years ago?
I know 10 years ago, for me, I just wanted to be lean, like see my ribs lean. Now, I want to be strong and lean. How has time changed your perception of your own fitness? @Margie Brennan @Katie Jagocki @Becky Brett @Michelle Parke @Val Zbezinski @Ariel Kestler @Corey Peacock @Sara Colon @Sarah Wambles @Abigail Cola

10 years ago my idea of fit was skinny and “toned,” think pilates body. I definitely fell into the trap of thinking if I wanted to look how someone else looked all I had to do was eat what they ate and poof, it would happen. It wasn’t until 2022/2023 where I feel like society shifted more towards lifting weights and strength training as a means of fitness, rather than focusing solely on cardio. Fitness to me now is a combination of strength and cardio endurance AND having a solid nutrition plan. I don’t think of fitness as being based on appearance but more so what your body can do for you.
Holly changed my life!
Aloha all! I started working on my nutrition with Holly close to 2 years ago now and it absolutely changed the way I view food and nutrition. I’m so excited to be on this platform and connect with you all while continuing to learn!
