Ego tools
Anyone use ego pro x or commercial tools? What do you think to them? Whats the performance like?
Hedge work
Started a big hedge cut yesterday 500 metres in length. Managed to get both sides done in 7 hours yesterday just need to do the tops today. I was using a cheap battery hedge cutter and my god it i could tell the difference at the end of the day using it. Whats the biggest hedge you have cut and was it regular?

Extra for the customers with no charge
Where do you draw a line for doing extra for customers with no charge and i am keen to see what you all do extra for your customers.

Depends on what it is. I use tovhave a customer who I just use to do little extra bits around the garden for free without them asking. They always looked after me so I looked after them. Usually if they say " can you just" its more than a couple of seconds. At that point it is chargeable time. An extra 5/10 minutes at one job can end up being an extra hour or 2 over the course of the day if you do it for everyone and if you don't charge then it can be some serious loss over time. I always say I can give you price and if you are happy I will do it next visit or come by another day if I have time and in the area.

@Stuart Clifford the big hedge job is already a Yearly cut with other work available through out the year! I will definitely be contacting customers again in a few months to keep on top of the hedge work
Pricing spraying
How does everyone price spraying weed killer? I have my licences for handling and applying with a knapsack. Never sat down and looked at the pricing as its something I wasn't offering back in england but now I want to.

@Stuart Clifford Thanks for looking Stuart, as soon as I came here I get everything sorted legally for it all which I knew was important before even looking at my knapsack sprayer again. As for the pricing I was absolutely stumped but this makes a lot of sense now!
