The request from me to you
First I want to thank you for you being here!! But here’s the thing I want more of you!! I want to get to know you, to help you, guide you and also grow with you!! Hi! I joined to learn and improve my short hair skills. Ive always had short hair and know how hard it is to find the right person. I want to be that person. I am also a newbie stylist and changing careers at 40. Im motivated and eager to build my clientele so that I can go full-time and quit my "responsible, adult job." 🤣 I've got big goals for 2026 and open to all the help and guidance I can get. I love your vibe and cant wait to meet you in person.

@Julie Facer Well, I am commission for hair and booth rent for nails. I am also kinda of an assistant but not really. Lol its an interesting dynamic we have going. We are a team of 2 in a salon that kind of fell apart.... We will be moving to a salon suite in May. Honestly, im on my own when it comes to building clients and marketing. My plan is to build my clientele and then go booth rent and stay in a salon suite. Any tips and ideas you have is so appreciated. Marketing makes my brain hurt and so does speaking to my ideal client on social media. 🙃

I am wanting to improve all my cutting skills. Layering, bobs, short pixie, men's, fringe and face framing. I graduated from Cosmetology School this year and I didn't get a lot of opportunities for different haircuts. I definitely feel intimidated and not as confident as I'd like to be. Super excited to be here and learning more behind the hair.
