I went to the website @Les Clark posted "Human Rights Campaign" to learn about the pronouns. On the site I found that the Winter Park Chambers of Commerce was giving out free pride flags. I went and got one today. I'll hang it on my apartment door. 🏳️🌈 Oh, this is the Winter Park Chambers of Commerce logo for Pride Month. So cool!😀
You did something. You showed up. You made a choice that aligned with you. Now celebrate it! It doesn't have to be big: - Take yourself out on a date - Buy yourself that plant you've been eyeing - Enjoy your favorite meal guilt-free - Sleep in without apologizing - Wear the outfit you actually want to wear - Post about your win - Just sit with the feeling of being proud of yourself Whatever it is - make sure you actually celebrate YOU. You deserve it. 💛
@Les Clark Thank you so much or the live call tonight! Your questions were thoughtful and I'll be sitting with them over the next few days. Really loved meeting everyone!! #WeGotThis 🥰
I agree! Great call! Lovely meeting everyone. @Alex Fisher can you tell me the name of ur group again? I didn’t know how to access the chat after the call.
I just wanted to hop on here for a moment and let you all know the call yesterday was really good. When I got up this morning I decided no more excuses - so I looked online and I found Come Out With Pride in Orlando Florida. I joined their mailing list and put it on my calendar the "Love and Liberation Juneteenth Pride Celebration." It's free and just a short drive from where I live. Thanks to everyone on the call for the encouragement to participate in the community. 🏳️🌈
