Hey 👋 I already wrote this in the comments section of a post but I wanted to write a whole post about this because I'm literally so happy in these days I feel so seen because I came out to a group of friends (but I actually don't know them very well, we just volunteer together at our church's summer camp) and after telling one of them, and after that all of them, they stayed in the kitchen with me for about one hour asking, giving me advice and just truly being happy for me. I felt like I was about to cry for happiness and gratitude 🥹🥹 and they still supporting me everyday during summer camp

I walked into a bathroom and saw signs for "women & nonbinary" and "men & nonbinary." Someone thought about me. Someone considered that I exist. Someone made space for me without me having to ask or explain. It's a small sign. But it felt huge. This is what true inclusion looks like - thoughtful. Spaces that say "you belong here".
