Where Our Attention Goes Our Energy Flows : You Can't Do Everything At Once
I wish I would have figured this out sooner! Focus on What You Are Doing instead of on What You Aren't Doing (or should be doing.) Focus on What You Want instead of focusing on What you Don't Want (or want to avoid!) Our thoughts have electromagnetic energy that impacts our bodies. Brain neurons release chemicals into the bloodstream that impact every cell in our body. What you believe and think about impacts every cell in your body. If you are struggling with your weight or health, there is a way to get to the root of the problem. Become aware of where your attention is going. You can't pay attention to everything at once! You can't do everything at once. Just thinking about everything simultaneously releases the cortisol stress hormone that turns your fat-burning machinery off. When it comes to losing weight and feeling like ourselves again, there are so many things we can do to help. Instead of giving my clients a laundry list of aligned actions, I ask them to focus on 1-3 aligned actions at a time. If they do those, they lose weight and address the root cause.
