I want to acknowledge that I’ve been a little quiet and less present here over the past few weeks. Life has been full, and somewhere in the middle of everything, I got out of rhythm with showing up here the way I intended to. I don’t want to just slip back in without acknowledging that. But I’m here. And I’m ready to get us back on track. One thing I teach often is that getting off track does not mean we have failed. Sometimes the practice is simply noticing where we are, returning to center, and choosing again. So that’s what I’m doing. I’m choosing to return with intention, reconnect with this beautiful community, and continue building the space we created for healing, growth, prayer, reflection, and becoming more deeply aligned with ourselves. Thank you to those of you who have remained here, checked in, continued your own practices, and given me grace. We’re moving forward again. 🤍 And maybe this is your reminder too: you do not have to wait until everything is perfect to begin again. You can simply choose to return. Scripture — Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV) “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Reflection — He Will Quiet You With His Love There are seasons when life becomes so loud. Our responsibilities are loud. Our worries are loud. The opinions of others can be loud. And sometimes even our own thoughts become so loud that we struggle to hear the quiet assurance of God. Yet this scripture gives us a beautiful image: God is with us, and His love has the ability to quiet us. Notice that the verse does not say we must first have everything figured out. It does not say we must become stronger, more faithful, or more deserving before God draws near. It simply says, “The Lord your God is with you.” Sometimes we spend so much time asking God to change what is happening around us that we forget to recognize what He may be doing within us. He may not always remove the storm immediately, but He can quiet the storm inside of us. He can quiet the fear that says, What if everything goes wrong? He can quiet the voice that says, I should be further along by now. He can quiet the pressure to prove ourselves. He can quiet the belief that we must carry everything alone. And perhaps one of the most beautiful parts of this scripture is the reminder that God delights in us. Not merely when we are productive. Not only when we get everything right. Not only when our faith feels strong. He delights in us because we belong to Him. Today, perhaps our invitation is simply to become still enough to receive that love. To release, even for a moment, the need to solve everything. To remember: God is here. God is near. And His love is greater than the noise. Closing Prayer Heavenly Father, Thank You for reminding us that You are with us. When our minds are crowded with worry, quiet us with Your love. When fear speaks loudly, help us hear Your voice more clearly.
