That day changed everything. What started as a temporary switch quickly revealed a natural talent between the posts, and Hunter’s journey as a goalkeeper officially began. Since then, Hunter has gone from strength to strength. With quick reflexes, fearless diving saves, and a calm presence beyond his years, he quickly became a standout keeper in his age group. His performances haven’t gone unnoticed — several clubs have tried to lure him away, as dedicated, junior goalkeepers like Hunter are rare to find. But Hunter has stayed loyal to his roots, continuing to proudly play for Kirkby Town Madrid on Saturdays, Over time, he’s also been a valuable helping hand to other teams in need of a keeper, including The Bull, Knowsley Town, and Kirkby Town Barca. Most recently, he joined Kirkby Town Elric as his permanent Sunday team — a perfect fit, as it reunites him with many of his Saturday teammates and friends.
