Tuesday check: where is your body right now?
Tuesday is the day most of us are far enough into the week to forget we have a body. [GABE: one true line, yours. Where you noticed your own body this morning: the shoulders at the laptop, the jaw on a call, whatever it really was. Delete this line if you have nothing true to put here.] So here is one small thing. It takes about thirty seconds, and you do not need a mat. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘀 1. Jaw. Are your teeth pressed together? Let them part. 2. Shoulders. Are they up near your ears? Let them drop. 3. Feet. Are they on the floor? Feel the floor under them. That is the whole practice. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 Reply with one line: which of the three surprised you today, jaw, shoulders or feet? I do read every answer, and I reply to each one. If you sit for hours and want more, Looking after your Body at the Desk is in the Classroom: https://www.skool.com/wellness-and-ai/classroom/3e181f42?md=984929248e814824902ea61a679c45fd

Enthusiasm on Sunday Funday
One of the things that is under-said in the world today is the value of enthusiasm. Enthusiasm looks and feels different for each of us. What tends to be true for many is that enthusiasm is a result of an outside event. You book a vacation, and now you have enthusiasm, which amplifies as the days get nearer. You buy something new and there is a sense of enthusiasm. Sometimes the need to feel enthusiasm goes overboard, and we chase that feeling through intense workouts, spending money, chasing sex, or rushing to find the latest "guru." I made this SKOOL so these topics can be talked about in the open. How often does someone ask you what makes you feel passion? How often do you allow yourself to act on your deep sense of enthusiasm? The word itself comes from the Greek entheos, "the god within." So maybe enthusiasm was never meant to come only from outside. The sage Hillel, who lived about 2,000 years ago, put the Golden Rule this way: "What is hateful to you, do not do unto others." The Baal Shem Tov, a rabbi from the 1700s whose name means "Master of the Good Name," taught that joy is the doorway. Start with how you treat yourself, and the dreams get a chance to come true. So on this Sunday, share in the comments what makes you feel alive. Tomorrow I will share a post about what a man named Patanjali shared about the power of enthusiasm. He is another figure from the past, from the Yoga tradition, who compiled the Yoga Sutras roughly 1,800 to 2,000 years ago. Mind you, he never talks about Butterfly Pose, or Running Man Pose, or Trikonasana. I woke up this morning excited to run weekly maintenance with my AI workers who keep me sane, then I went surfing. The wave was so tiny, but good practice and fun in the sun. I also got super excited to build an entry portal to help make your digital life even easier. If you have yet to look at the course "How ICM Cleans Your Files and Folders," go download the kit and experience how exciting it is to have a clean and organized digital environment.

Such an interesting assignment! I appreciate the insight, especially as my partner is a amongst many other things, is a yoga instructor, and I a tai chi instructor. I appreciate the expression of the inner manifesting to the outer. Of course, positive psychology would support that too. In this case, you're talking about enthusiasm. We're looking at enthusiasm, and what a great environment that you've set up for that, especially on a Sunday, talking about surfing! Ironically, the exercise that you asked, "Is what makes you feel alive?" For me currently, given the chronic conditions that I work through, I would have to say applying those tools and expressions through the very real chronic pain and debilitation that they have to navigate to meet the Joy or enthusiasm that might be carried through or waiting in the surroundings, especially on a Sunday when my partner will certainly be home at the same time that I will be. There's the Sunday market and our time together, so definitely a mixed cocktail for which there is no kit to download and sanitize, but wouldn't have it any other way! Hence why you know for certain why the water calls so much. I will enthusiastically thank you once again for the invite to the space, to the exercise, and to the day.
