A quick reminder for everyone… You do not have to be perfect to make progress. Maybe your nutrition wasn’t great this week.Maybe you missed a few workouts.Maybe life got busy. So let’s do a quick reset. What’s ONE thing you’re proud of from the last 7 days? And what’s ONE thing you’re committing to improve this coming week? Drop your answers below šŸ‘‡ Small wins compound. The people who succeed aren’t the ones who never fall off track—they’re the ones who keep showing up. Let’s hear it. This should get a lot more engagement because everyone can participate without feeling judged or having to share personal numbers.

Proud I was able to get back on track after stressful previous week out of routine. Changing up this week, well since I ate most of the chocolate squares that an old neighbor gave me, no more bad sugar lol Only fruit shakes this week.😁

Sometimes life is overwhelming
Alright, I owe you all a post. I haven’t been very active in here for the last week. I have my excuses, but at the end of the day they’re still excuses. Last weekend we were in Halifax for basketball. My kids will always come first, and I wouldn’t change that for anything. At the same time, I’m in the middle of building a 9-unit apartment building in O’Leary. It’s by far the biggest project I’ve ever taken on. Some days it’s exciting, and some days it’s overwhelming and draining. And don’t even get me started on dealing with banks. šŸ˜‚ On top of that, I have a friend in the hospital right now who isn’t doing very well. That’s been weighing pretty heavily on me too. The reason I’m sharing all of this is because every one of us has stuff going on. Work stress. Family responsibilities. Financial pressure. Health concerns. Life doesn’t stop just because we’re trying to get healthier. It’s easy to tell ourselves we’ll get back on track when things settle down. The reality is things rarely settle down. There will always be something demanding our attention. What I’ve reminded myself this week is that taking care of my health isn’t something I do when life gets easier. It’s something I need to do so I can handle life when it’s hard. So this is me being accountable. I’m back. I’m focused. And I’m going to keep working on getting a little better every day, even when life is messy. I’d love to hear from you. What’s one thing you’re dealing with right now, and what’s one thing you’re still doing to move yourself forward despite it?

Thnks for sharing such a great post Aaron. Sorry to hear about your friend and I can appreciate the struggles from everyone. For me this week I found myself stuck in NS waiting for a car part which gives me extra time with my mother but has cost me close to $1000 and missing work. It is a struggle without my bootcamp or yoga classes and eating nutritious meals can be a challenge here. The positives after stuck inside this weekend with the cold rain we did get for a walk today and I cooked one good meal that included lots of salad. It could be worsešŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø (hopefully get back before end of the week)
