🎉 Welcome, Get Started with The Posh Draping University Growth Roadmap!
Hey Tribe! 👋 Welcome to Posh Draping University. If you’re new here, this is your official starting point. For the next 7 days, I want you to treat this like your “First 7 Days As A Draper” experience. Your only job is to explore, get comfortable, and take one small action each day. 👉 Here’s your 7-Day Simple Starter Plan: Day 1: Introduce yourself in the community below – tell us your name, city, and why you joined PDU. Day 2: Watch the “Draping Essentials 7 for 7” video starter course. Find it here: https://www.skool.com/posh-draping-university/classroom/a42f8884?md=d456a490d3924faea2133f235a969513 Day 3: Post a picture of a drape you’ve done OR an inspiration photo you love. Day 4: Comment on at least 2 other members’ posts with encouragement or feedback. Day 5: Watch one beginner-friendly draping tutorial inside your library and comment your biggest takeaway. https://www.skool.com/posh-draping-university/classroom Day 6: Share your biggest win or “aha moment” from this week in the community. https://www.skool.com/posh-draping-university?c=389331a396e9489797b5dce3d49f8afd&s=newest-cm&fl= Day 7: Decide which tier matches your goals: Basic, Premium, or VIP. You’re right on time.Welcome to your new draping home. ✨ Remember: The more you show up and engage, the faster you grow—both in skill and income. So go introduce yourself, explore your lessons, and drop a comment in today’s community post to say hey! Let’s make your draping journey interactive, fun, and profitable. – Precious 💖

Do You Say the Price… or Dance Around It?
Real talk 👀 When a client asks what you charge, Do you say the price? Or do you: • start explaining before they even ask why • apologize for it before you say it • add "but I can work with your budget" before they've responded • suddenly forget what you normally charge That hesitation? They feel it. And it costs you bookings. 💬 Drop below: When you quote a client, do you say the price confidently, or do you still feel a little nervous about it? Be honest. This is a safe space. We're not judging, we're growing. Because booked designers don't apologize for their value. They present it.
Do You Say the Price… or Dance Around It?
@Ruth B. exactly. Clear pricing and the right clients go hand in hand. When your messaging is aligned, the right people come ready
@Regina Everett that’s a strong shift. Saying your price without hesitation builds trust and positions you as confident in your value
What Got Done This Week? Drop Your Friday Update Below
Hey PDU fam! Happy Friday. Before you close out the week, drop below real quick: ➊ What did you actually get done or practice this week? ➋ What didn't move that you wanted it to? ➌ What is one thing you want to focus on going into next week? Shoutout to everyone who showed up in the comments this week 👇 @Lucy Mireles cleaning and organizing the storage was the move this week. Did you get through it? Knowing exactly what you have is the first step to knowing what you can offer and what to invest in next. @Sasha Castle baby shower colour palettes, a two panel backdrop, balloon arch, centerpieces AND thinking about inventory for Bermuda all at once. That is a full creative and business week. Did the practice sessions land the way you envisioned? The space must transform, you said it yourself. Tell us how it went. @Ruth B. you did not just answer the question, you mapped out an entire business strategy. Content to clients, new designs to higher pricing, systems to more bookings, and digital products as the next play. That is not just thinking, that is someone who sees the full picture. How much of that actually moved this week? Everyone else, Regina, Darelle, Dianne and the rest of the fam, don't go quiet on a Friday. Drop your update below so we can close the week with intention. See you Monday!
@Lucy Mireles Lucy, that’s a major win. Putting everything in place like that takes time but it sets you up for smoother setups moving forward. Keep going with the flowers, that level of organization will save you time and make your workflow so much easier
@Regina Everett getting your storage organized is real work that pays off later. Once everything is in place, showing up and posting will feel a lot easier. Keep going, you’re setting yourself up for smoother weeks ahead

Hey PDU fam! Happy Friday. Before you close out the week, drop below real quick: ➊ What did you actually get done or practice this week? ➋ What didn't move that you wanted it to? ➌ What is one thing you want to focus on going into next week? Shoutout to everyone who showed up this week 👇 @Lucy Mireles quinceañera setup this Saturday AND flying out to Atlanta for class Thursday. That is a woman who is executing and investing in her growth at the same time. How did the navy blue and silver setup come together? And how was the class? We want to hear all of it. Everyone else, Selena, Dianne, Ruth, Tronda, Sasha, Rena, and the rest of the fam, don't go quiet on a Friday. Drop your update below so we can close the week with intention and not just let it slip by. See you Monday!
@Nicole King being done ahead of schedule is a big win. That gives you space to refine, practice, and walk into your event prepared instead of rushed. Recreating designs now is exactly how you make setup day smoother and faster.
@Stacy Robinson using a real event as a test run is a smart move. That kind of practice builds confidence fast. Keep exploring fabric textures too, that’s what will take your designs to the next level
Stop Explaining Your Prices. Start Presenting Your Value.
Here's something nobody tells you When you over-explain your price, you've already lost. Clients don't need a defense. They need a presentation. There's a difference between: "It's $850 because I have to get the supplies and drive out and set up and—" And: "This package includes full installation, custom color matching, and same-day breakdown." One explains. One leads. Try This in Ask Posh: "Help me rewrite my service description so it presents value instead of justifying cost." Paste your current description, and share what it rewrote. 💬 Drop the before and after below. Let's see the glow-ups.
Stop Explaining Your Prices. Start Presenting Your Value.
@Ruth B. Ruth, this is a strong value based shift. You’re clearly communicating what the client is getting instead of why it costs what it costs. Keep refining this and it will make your pricing conversations much smoother and more confident
