What Is the One Thing in Your Business That Actually Brings You Clients?
Be honest with yourself for a second 👀 Out of everything you do to market your business, What actually works? Not what you think should work. Not what the gurus say works. What has actually, directly brought you an inquiry or a booking? For some of you it is: • Posting your work on Instagram or Facebook • Word of mouth from past clients • A vendor you have a relationship with • Google or a wedding directory listing • Showing up in this community and networking • A specific type of event that always leads to more For some of you, if you are being fully honest, you are not sure. And that uncertainty is worth examining. 💬 Drop below: What is the ONE thing that has most consistently brought you clients or inquiries in the last 90 days? If you do not know, say that too. Because not knowing is the starting point for building something that works.
@Ruth B. That's great as well.
@Kim Simmons that’s a great foundation because referrals from past events and word of mouth come from trust already being built. As you continue expanding your business footprint, your social media will have even more momentum behind it. Keep stacking those visibility channels!

New Week. Stop Starting Over. Start Scaling What Is Already Working.
Hey PDU fam 💕 Happy Monday. Three weeks in. June has been full. This week we are asking a different kind of question. Not what do I need to fix — but what do I need to do MORE of. Because at some point in business the move is not to add something new. The move is to double down on what is already producing results. The service clients keep requesting. The marketing that keeps bringing inquiries. The package that sells without a fight. The setup style that gets the most shares. That thing? We are scaling it this week. Drop in below: ➊ What are you working on this week? ➋ What is one thing in your business that is already working — even a little bit? ➌ What would happen if you focused exclusively on that one thing this week? Do not overthink it. The answer is probably simpler than you think. — Precious
@Stephanie Sutherlin Welcome back Stephanie! Having an event on August 1st gives you the perfect opportunity to put what you're learning into action. Start working through that mockup now, and by event day you'll feel much more confident in your design and setup.
What Happens After a Client Says Yes, Be Honest
Okay tribe let us talk about something 👀 A client says yes. They are booked. Deposit paid. What happens next, on your end? Do they get: • A confirmation email within the hour • A clear timeline of what to expect from you • A contract that explains everything • A check-in before the event date • A questionnaire so you can personalize their setup Or do they get: • Silence until a week before the event • A text thread that slowly gets confusing • Questions answered only when they ask • A setup that was great — but an experience that felt disorganized Here is the truth: Clients do not only hire you for the draping. They hire you for the feeling that everything is handled. And if that feeling is missing — they will not come back. And they will not refer you. 💬 Drop below: What does your post-booking client experience actually look like right now? Be specific. Be honest. This is how we fix it.
@Semoin Irving-Crawford Consistent communication is key. Clients feel more confident when they know you're guiding them every step of the way.
@Regina Everett Clear contracts and expectations create trust and professionalism. Having those details outlined upfront protects everyone involved.
Q&A
Hi Previous and theme. Im not getting to use the PDS. I dont understand why. Im able yo access the classroom and community. I also noticed that the last time I logged into PDU , a few of my design thatvi saved , when I return and click on them I can't see them. Kindly advice. Im not sure why this is happening. Looking forward to a speedy response.
Q&A
Hey @Semoin Irving-Crawford, your access to PDS is unavailable because you are not currently subscribed to PDS separately. PDS requires its own recurring subscription. The Classroom, Courses, and Community are part of PDU (Posh Draping University), which is separate from PDS and remains accessible. This is also why you are unable to view your saved PDS designs. If you need further assistance, please reach out to [email protected]
