Yes that would be great! I would love that
Explaining an Autism Diagnosis to your child
When my son was first diagnosed with autism at age 3 I worried about how I would tell him about his diagnosis as he got a little older... I looked for books in the library and Amazon, I couldn't find anything that really worked, most books were either for other neurotypical children explaining what autism was or it was about a character with autism. So I created this picture book to explain an autism diagnosis to a child who has autism. If you're looking for something similar please feel free to download it for FREE here: https://functionalautism.com/your-brain-works-differently-and-thats-okay

Welcome to the Functional Autism Course Community!
Please Read First: This course was created to empower parents, caregivers, and advocates with educational tools and holistic strategies to support children and teens on the autism spectrum. Our focus is on exploring possible root causes, functional health approaches, and practical ways to improve quality of life while recognizing that every child is unique. Purpose of the Course: - Provide education on functional and holistic concepts related to autism - Share evidence-informed and experience-based insights in areas such as gut health, nutrition, nervous system regulation, detox support, and more - Offer practical tools that you can choose to apply—or not—based on your own judgment and your child’s needs - Create a supportive, respectful community where parents and caregivers can learn without fear of judgment Important Community Guidelines: 1. Respect All Perspectives – This is a judgment-free space. Personal attacks, dismissive language, or shaming others for their choices will not be tolerated. 2. No Debates on Viewpoints – All topics in this course are subjective and for educational purposes only. You are welcome to share your experience, but not to argue over methods, interventions, or philosophies. 3. Freedom to Take or Leave – You are not expected to agree with or implement everything shared. Each learner is encouraged to filter the information through their own values, beliefs, and circumstances. 4. No Medical Advice Exchange – This is not a medical forum. First of all, I am super excited and grateful that I found you on the Facebook group, when I found out you were in Phoenix, even more amazing and when I found out that the treatment that I’d love to try on my daughter, of course after frat testing you offer I was jumping for Joy. I will see you on our telehealth meeting. God bless you so much.
