I wanted to take a moment to pause and say how proud I am of each of you. In 2025, 9 participants made a decision to stay committed to stewardship. Since the beginning of PughFC, 16 individuals have trusted this process—and that trust means everything to me. This year had challenges. Real ones. But you showed up anyway. You didn’t just work on numbers—you built resilience. You built awareness. And you built peace. This is what YOU accomplished! - “I didn’t touch my savings for months,” - “I didn’t carry credit card debt this year,” - “I learned I can always get back up,” - “We enjoyed what we wanted and it didn’t hurt us financially,” I knew something deeper was happening. You weren’t just managing money—you were growing. Yes, we can celebrate the progress: Over $16,129.53 saved this year. Nearly $58,813.22 paid toward debt.1 8 debts paid off. And since this journey began: More than $31,537.94 saved.Over $109,353.50 paid toward debt. 40 debts eliminated. But what I celebrate most is your obedience, your consistency, and your willingness to keep going—even when it wasn’t easy. This work required trust. And I truly believe God honored every step you took. As you move into 2026, carry this with you: - You can do hard things. - You can recover. - And peace is something you are capable of creating. Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you. I’m so proud of you—and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Good morning, Last week, we spent time practicing gratitude. And the truth is, things may not be where you hoped they would be right now — but you can still be grateful for where God has you. Gratitude helps settle your heart, but it also prepares you to make decisions that honor the season you’re in. And now it’s time to make one. I don’t want you saying, “I’ll start over in January after the holidays.” That mindset feels harmless, but it’s really a distraction — a setup that leaves you in a deeper hole when the new year begins. So this week, take a moment to reflect on a few questions: - What major expenses do I still have before the year ends? - How will I adjust to changes in my pay during the holidays? (Fewer hours? Getting paid early but with a long gap? Extra overtime?) - What’s my Christmas budget? Who am I buying gifts for? Who will receive a Christmas card? - How many holiday gatherings will I attend, and what will the costs look like? You may not be where you want to be financially, but avoiding reality will only make the road harder. Facing it with honesty and intention is an act of stewardship — and an act of trust.
