3d shoot

Robin hoods
Was tinkering with the sight picture and sight length on the target bow. Most people get excited about these but I utterly hate them! All I see is money out the door lol

@Melvin Vera growing up my dad sold Bowtechs in Wisconsin and he hated working on Matthew’s so I’m not sure I’ll ever shoot one lol

@Melvin Vera people love them! I just can’t disappoint my dad buy owning one lol he already questioned why I had bought my elite and not another Bowtech lol

2nd time shooting any compound bow
This was from 20 yards, 2 in the red zone -pretty close 2 in the blue zone, not that bad and of course the first arrow was pretty far left. But I felt like I am finally making progress. Been going to the gym for 4 days in a row after 1,5 years away, every muscle in the body was super sore. I think I shot a total of 20 arrows before stopping as I was not able to be as steady as I wanted, but that will come in a few more weeks.

Wisconsin Midstate Classic finish
Well ended up in 8th. Shooter’s definitely getting better. If I shot this score last year it would have been 4th. I’ll take it knowing I still have things to improve on

@James Cordova so for this 4 tournament series there were 30 targets each tournament. The yardages ranged anywhere from 16-57 yards. On 3d targets you will have a small center circle which for these tournaments equaled 12 points. The next biggest circle around the 12 was worth 10 points. The next biggest representing the vital area was worth 8 points and anywhere else on the body is worth 5. Example picture below is of 2 12s and a 10. So to explain it like golf, shooting par would be a 300. Anything better than that is where you want to be. Shooting 12s and avoiding 8s and 5s are the end goal. Hell some shoots it’s even hard to hit a 10!

Dad owned an archery shop growing up so I’ve always been around a bow. Stopped for quite a while but it called me back. Love tournaments and competing
