A real estate agent actually told me today: > āI normally donāt work with investors⦠I think my clients would prefer to sell to a family who will live in the home instead of someone just trying to make money.ā Iāve been doing this a long time⦠and Iāve literally never had an agent say something like that. Hereās the thing: ā Investors are legitimate buyers. ā Investors close quickly. ā Investors solve problems and improve properties. ā Investors help keep the market moving. And most importantly⦠š The seller decides what offer is best for their situation ā not the agent. š An agentās personal opinion shouldnāt interfere with the seller hearing all qualified offers. Iām not offended ā Iām just surprised to see this level of bias toward a buyer category that plays such a massive role in every healthy real estate market. So Iām curious⦠Has anyone else ever had a real estate agent basically say they donāt work with investors? Drop your experience below ā I want to hear if this is becoming a trend or if this was just an odd one-off conversation. š --- If youāre an investor, wholesaler, homeowner, or agent who wants to collaborate, bring deals, or learn how to navigate situations like this⦠Iām always here to help.
