Hi everyone! I’m a little late to the party, but still wanted to introduce myself. I’m Anne and I primarily work with watercolors and acrylic paints. My instagram is @theAMStudio.art. I am a stay at home mom of three young kids so I need to use mediums that are quick drying and relatively nontoxic 😅 I’m in the US and have been turning to art more and more as both an escape from current events, but also a means to process what is happening. I love to paint little glimmers I find in nature (birds, clouds, flowers, and trees are my favorites) but I have also been making some political cartoon style works too. I’m definitely an amateur artist still (I took one oil painting class back in college) and mostly learn from other instagram artists and from my mom who became an artist in her late 50s and has been generous enough to pass along lots of supplies to help get me started! I’ve been pretty isolated in my art journey so I am excited to build some community with you! ❤️
