I think I would choose bioinformatics. To be honest, it's very perplexing to me how we can solve the super-alienated, scrambled folds of proteins with a fair chance of succeeding at something that would not even be possible in a billion years if we tried to do it without computers. So, I would definitely choose something like that.. I think that proteins and a bunch of other complicated-looking things behave like parents. I mean, they're pretty unpredictable, but with the difference that one could be understood by AlphaFold 2 and the other by some otherworldly, super-advanced fMRI technique, of course, in theory, most of the time. I still have a million reasons to choose that, but yeah, never mind, lol. Well, what would you choose? Just asking out of curiosity, if you don't mind. And also, thank you very much for this cool post:)

@Deiondra Chalwell You seem quite interested in microbiology. That's so cool!!! What would you say about the tech community's vision of "AI babies"? I think it's completely different from the whole "designer babies" concept. I don't know, but I have a feeling that it might be somewhat related to microbiology as well, at least to a significant extent. Then again, I don't know much about microbiology. Yep, that's a very good post. Keep sharing. And yeah, thank you very much.

Hello and Welcome Fellow Biology Nerds! Let's get to know each other :)
Hey everyone! Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I will be passing down my knowledge to any and everyone who is even remotely interested in learning about the fascinating world of molecular and cellular biology. As I continue to create and roll out new content, please feel free to comment on this post with a few key pieces of information: 1) Introduce yourself (What sound do we make to get your atttention? i.e. your name). 2) Share a cool or funny fact about yourself or the world in general. 3) What peeked your interest, if anything, in this nerdy stuff? 4) If you're a huge animal lover like I am go ahead and share a pic of your furry baby! Oh, and if you already have a few ideas racing around inside your skull about topics you potentially like see discussed also feel free to drop those in the comments below as well :). Let's get started shall we?

1. Anne 2. I'm a very curious person who never sticks to only what she is supposed to study to pass tests, but instead to anything that is super cool or scientific. I love to ask questions about everything I don't know, and I'm lucky that I will never run out of questions forever. That's why I am here, to ask questions and learn and share (😂 don't know much, by the way). The world seems quite cool but super unfamiliar, and yeah, I don't want to be at the mercy of my shallow understanding of this unfamiliarity. 3. I really want to learn what it is that makes every creature perform trillions of functions so precisely without mixing up one action with another. The reason I want to understand this is because a week or two ago, I experienced something funny but terrifying about myself. I was unable to control my laughter, but I did not know why I wanted to laugh so hard. Of course, I'm not insane, but I had been learning quantum mechanics for a week or two at the time, which was quite disturbing for me. So, this incident made me want to learn about what makes biological frameworks tick in such bizarre ways. But yeah, I would not have found this cool community if my teacher had not mentioned it when we were having a discussion about an awesome creature that he had posted a clip about. I truly, truly wish that I could learn more about it here. 4. I don't have any pet animals, but I would love to own a baby giraffe if I could afford one. They are more than the seven wonders of the world to me. I want to learn about their biological frameworks as well. Oh yes, I would be grateful if you posted about how neural things work to make animals uniquely creative and intelligent in their own ways. Yep, let's talk more about this or anything cool that you have to offer. Can't wait to learn from you. Thank you very much.

I want to be free from those 'under-the-skin reactions' and that 'anxious happiness' feeling when I'm unsure of what to say. Talking is hard...
