Got A Mare?
I love the mares! I have had 1 rank one and 2 phenomenal ones. Phenomenal didn't = easy by the way! Love this video as it shows how things happen and we need to help our horses through the difficult times! https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1BeKCuERC7/

Have two at the moment, both privately owned. Bay one is 16 now and is in perpetual state of pissoff whenever someone approaches her, but it's mostly for show, she is actaully sweet and really tries to do her best. She literally rolls eyes if rider does something wrong or make her miss a step. She a real character, won't step into puddles but shes happy to go up to her belly in apond to eat algae. She would shake head in dissaproval when you ask her to trot in circles on arena but happily trot for hours on a hacks. In picture below she threw tantrum about stepping into the puddles but also she is putting up with some much silly things and adventures with her teenage owner that it is truly amazing. And she came third in novice dressage test too. The other one - palomino skewbald is a sweetest thing ever. The most huggable, playful bear ever. Super smart, cause mayhem all the time opening locks, tearing up rugs, headcollars, reins, breaking buckets, toys, fences. ball of energy but easiest to be started ever. I had several mares in training so far, including connemaras, Irish sport horses, thorougbreds, and as much as I love challenge - I take gedlings any day XD

I have 3 horses, and 2 private in training. I specialise in herd mechanics and ethology and usually gets the "troubled horses" or young green ones to "fix" people's issues. Few years ago I completetd the courses and achieved the level of horse riding instructor but I'm slightly dissapointed with the approach of my tutors and instructors who focused more on techniques, gadgets and tricks that actual skills and fitness of the riders. I always felt that;'s theres more to riding that making horse jump better, run faster and look prettier. Since I'm working on harmony and communication with horse I'm learning about biomechanics and balance to improve it.
