Yesterday, I wanted to do absolutely nothing. I wanted to stay in bed, avoid the world, and just cry. And to be honest? I did cry—a lot. Past trauma was creeping in, I haven’t been sleeping well, and it’s that time of the month on top of it all. But I also knew that if I stayed in that space all day, I’d only feel worse. So I asked myself: 💭 What does my brain want? 💛 What does my heart want? 🧠 What does my gut want? And funny enough, they all gave me different answers. So, I honored each one in small ways: ✨ I took a nap in the hammock. ✨ I went for a walk. ✨ I did yoga. ✨ I cleaned my space. ✨ I went to therapy. ✨ I cooked myself a nice dinner. And even though I didn’t want to do any of it, after I did? I felt like a whole new person. 10x lighter! So if you’ve been avoiding rest, avoiding self-care, or telling yourself you “don’t have time” to slow down… that is the exact reason you NEED to do it! ✨ Your body is speaking to you. ✨ Your emotions need to be processed. ✨ Your energy needs space to reset. Give yourself that space. Honor what you need, even when you don’t feel like it. It makes all the difference. 🫶🏼 So I ask you out of love not judgement: How are you honoring yourself this week? Be honest. If you have no game plan for self care, let's work on it together! You don't have to do this alone. 🫶🏻
